I will not be going to Mom’s BBQ ANY LONGER. These penny pinching idiots got my order wrong. I ordered a half slab of ribs which comes with two sides. When I arrived home they weren’t in the bag. I understand that people make mistakes but this is ridiculous, as I called back to explain to them what happened they told all they could do was refund me $4.00 or I could come pick up my sides. The problem with that is I live over 45 mins away. I asked if they could give me a larger size sides for my troubles, they said they couldn’t because they would get in trouble. How stupid is that, you rather not accommodate a loyal customer for his troubles for their mistake. I can tell you this I will not be coming back to this penny pinching establishment. Look at the the photo of how puny the sides are, REALLY, drive 45 minutes away for $4.00 and puny sides. There are much better BBQ establishments, like Woody’s, in the city where you can het better service don’t waste your time at this trash establishment.

If I could give less than 1 star I would give Mom’s a -1 star. My husband had been before and was grately disappointed I talked him into it and wish hadn’t. Stay away!! Go down the street to Woody’s or cross town to phillips.
Moms bar-Bq should be ashamed of herself the prices were high and the quality sucked. Now I know why there’s never anyone at the window when you drive by. What a waste of 40bucks for two sandwiches

The barbecue sauce had no seasoning.I asked for the mild and it was very bland as if it was served in a nursing home. The babies taste , like they came right out of a can and just warmed over a stove pilot. This food was nasty as hell no seasoning , no flavor at all…

Definitely not cheap, but always delicious. No outdoor/indoor dining unless you eat it in your car. Which I wouldn’t recommend. Parking can get a little tight too.

I visit mom‘s I was craving some rib tips. I haven’t been there in about 10 years I decided to give them a try again and was greatly disappointed the barbecue sauce tasted like water they don’t serve coleslaw. The baked beans also tasted like water and the macaroni salad was not good. I ordered a rib tip dinner and a lunch rib plate. I also got a piece of barbecue chicken and a hot drink on the side, the chicken was good, but they sliced my hot link as if I was eating a seafood boil, did not like just a waste of $60

The menu makes no sense. There is an area titled sandwiches and I ordered the chicken sandwich. I was told they didn’t have a chicken sandwich and that it was just 3 pieces of chicken on a plate. I asked them why it was under the sandwich list and they said it’s just like that. I came for a chicken sandwich because there was one on the menu and when I ordered one I was told they didn’t have one. At this point I just didn’t want to order anything else so I said never mind and the lady had the audacity to say bye in a sarcastic tone. I’ll never be back and I’d urge the general population to save their money for a more deserving business.

Very clean place inside and out service they are kind .food tastes good I ordered all white meat chicken bar b que sandwich.was very moist I will be going back again. No where to sit must order outside cash or visa only they charge one dollar more for bank visa card. Their prices are not cheap at all. It’s worth the bit

So I’ve been coming to this place since I was kid & have never had any issues. Today my dad went & picked up some food for us & when he got home I open my plate & was not happy. I ordered the chicken dinner with double beans for the sides & this is what they gave me. Each compartment had about 4 bites in it maybe 2oz of beans per compartment. As someone’s who works in the food industry & has done so for 12 years I can honestly say this is unacceptable. If I didn’t live 9 miles away I would have definitely driven there to place my complaint in person. Hopefully they can train the staff better on portion size because if this happens again I definitely will be taking my business to one of the other 100 bbq spots in LA.

I have been coming to Mom’s since the 90’s. Back then the sauce was the best I had ever tasted. I drove 36 miles for a bar-be-que pork ribs dinner. The meat was tough to eat, the mild sauce had no taste, pork n beans just heated from a can and potato salad store bought. I paid $33.00 for food that had no taste. That will be my last time going to Mom’s it’s changed from the best to the worst!! Extremely disappointed will start going to Woody’s!!!
