Sometime since I’ve been to Ruth Chris probably 8-9 years and nothing has changed. The standards are impeccable. The service is impeccable it is absolutely out of this world cannot recommend this facility highly enough. This is fine dining, this was a welcome birthday treat. Bellissimo

This place is amazing when I went for Valentine’s Day. We got in in just enough time where it wasn’t too crowded. We got our food. It was the best steak and the service was great. Everybody was nice. They gave you refill. You have to dress up nice that’s my one only thing but if you walk in and you see kind of a bit of people, you might be waiting for a minute, but you still will get your food and I’m in a couple in a cup in like 10 to 20 minutes. The service is really good. The food quality is the best and the service is pretty nice. The attendance are super nice to you. I would recommend this for dates if you are going on one for your first.

We stopped in for happy hour. I had a good whiskey sour and the prime sliders. Very juicy and flavorful, three sliders of 3 oz each, so plenty for a meal. The onion rings are absolutely excellent, I suggest sharing those. My wife had the ahi tuna and avocado which was just okay. Good prices for happy hour, the service was adequate but not great.

We had made a reservation in advance to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, and our experience was absolutely amazing! We were seated right away and found a lovely anniversary card and rose petals on our table, which was a wonderful touch to commemorate our special day. Our server, Erin, was warm and engaging, and manager Scott stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and offer a delicious cheesecake dessert on the house. Our filet and shrimp were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We also enjoyed the house salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was outstanding, and we look forward to our next visit very soon!

Went for Happy Hour, as recommended by a friend (whose experience was not at this location). Didn’t get past the foyer because if I “wasn’t meeting someone”, I was told I’d need to wait. On a bench. Against a wall. Dear GM, think of how that comes across. Would you want any female in your family to be treated as such?
I have dined once with friends at this location & that wasn’t much better. We poured our own wine and had to flag down another employee so that we might buy another bottle during our meals.
I think 2 strikes is enough. And apparently, this IS a location thing, but unfortunately, it colors my view of the company.
(The 2 stars is for the smiling hostess,but certainly not for Jeffrey or my experience)

We booked a table in advance and were looking forward to it…a surprise or an adventure…
Drive to the restaurant door and help guests park…
The restaurant hall is solemn and elegant, the waiters are friendly and enthusiastic, our seats are in the corner, and we didn’t see a rack to hang windbreakers in the restaurant, so we put them on the seats next to us…
We ordered the T-bone and lobster platter, my family member said there might be a mix up, his T-bone was too cooked and he didn’t want to eat it, and my steak on the lobster platter was just right…
He didn’t want to complain, that wasn’t his style, he didn’t want to eat and take away…
Garlic mashed potatoes taste great.

Professional wait staff. Best restaurant service in the area. Steaks are outstanding and served sizzling hot. In an era of poor service and substandard food, Ruth Chris in Sarasota remains on top of their game and is well worth the price. Skip all the chain restaurant disappointments this month and spend that $$$ at Ruth Chris.

I stayed in Sarasota for the weekend because I wanted to be closer to the beach, I wanted to treat my girl to a nice restaurant for her birthday. I had never been to Ruth’s Chris, so I decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, the hosts were very nice and professional. They quickly found us a table and decorated it with a birthday theme, plus gave my girl a birthday card. The food was tasty and cooked just right. Really recommend the lobster and Mac.
