So my Mom’s was craving LJS & the closest one is here (we live near Old pearsall) off marbach. Wasn’t too crowed but I could see they were kinda busy w/ drive thru but that didn’t stop them from taking my order quickly. Juan was really friendly, they had forgotten to add an item to our order but the manager Loretta was so nice & fixed everything! Great food & service!

Went for dinner: I got the 2 piece chicken meal and my husband got the fish and chicken platter and ordered extra shrimp. The first bite of chicken I took I was unable to bite through the chicken. It would not allow me to. It was like rubber. I came out of the shell it was around as you can see in the photos. The fries tasted like they were made in old oil. I couldn’t eat my food. I was so grossed out. I will never eat here or any long John silvers again. For $30 I could have eaten something better. I understand the chicken is not the employees fault and they were nice. But the quality of the chicken was awful. I almost got sick at the restaurant. I’d avoid eating here sadly.

Didn’t know they had grilled items available so decided to try a bowl. It came with brown rice, cabbage, 4-6oz salmon topped with Baja sauce. There are other sauces available to season the bowl.
Now just to let you know if you try the bowl it doesn’t have anything else included not even a drink. If you want sides and a drink get the meal.
Overall the sauce was a little spicy but not hot. The rice was a little under cooked and chewy. Salmon was good and couldn’t taste much of the seasoning that was on it.

Well its been a while since i’ve been to long john silvers..first thing at the box..has shrunk…big time…used to come with fries/hushpuppies…and crunchys bigger box…now you get 2 sides. No more fries…no more hushpuppies they are sides.. but 2 sides 2 ounces of corn or green beans… it was 32.00 dollers…wow prices are high. Food is good but going to red lobster would be better.. i wont go any more been many many years ago…did not go in so that why atmosphere..

The manager here is always helping her staff, not lazy, I see her running around making sure everything is OK. She gets the orders right. The food is fresh and tastes absolutely delicious. My favorite is the fish and shrimp platter. I always come here. It is affordable and not overpriced.

The cashier at the store was so nice. I placed my order, and she said I will bring it to you. 3 minutes later shes walking into the dining room holding my bag. I was like WOW that was SO FAST! She walked the bag to me.. Thats GREAT SERVICE. She hs a Great Attitude, Very Happy To Serve ALL The Mates. I was out the door so fast. I had to post my comment after leaving.
All the food was hot and fresh. Ava enjoyed the Little Crunchies at the bottom of the box. I did let Them know.. we were Living Out the Story from the Bible

I use to go to Long John’s a lot with my family as a kid, but now, rarely. The food at the locations I’ve recently visited is just not the same as it use to. However, to my surprise, today at this location I had a great experience.
My family ordered an 8pc family meal and the quality/taste of the food was great! It brought me back to those old days when I used to go to Long John’s with my family. I don’t know if the place is usually this good, but today it definitely was.

Fish was good but pricey, they charged extra to replace chicken with fish. Rice looked good but was a little hard, not much flavor. My daughter liked the hush puppies better than laguna madres.

I have been a HUGE fan of Long John Silvers for over 40 years. The crispy batter, tender fish and chicken, an unique atmosphere has always been linked to great childhood memories.
As people started eating healthier, their business slowed down, but I can’t resist the rich flavor their food has.
Many seafood shoppes have closed down, merged with A&W, or have degraded in appearance due to this shift in American dietary habits.
What a welcome sight this restaurant was.
The exterior was well-maintained and showed the magnitude of this restaurant chain from the glory days. The interior was equally impeccable with only an occasional wallpaper peeling or tear in a seat cushion.
The staff was smiling, friendly, prompt, and anticipated my needs before even voicing them. The fish was perfectly,cooked and the batter crumbs as great as I remembered. It truly brought back memories from my childhood when LJS was the Lenten restaurant for the entire family.
Thank you for keeping up the great standards I remembered. It really brightened my day.
