My first time here and I am from York pa. It is a great and beautiful atmosphere inside. The service was great. Lori my bar tender best ever and was very sweet. To be honest it seems like all the employees were very nice. Wings were amazing and also try the pretzel nuggets. Food came quick so great job to the cooks. I all definitely be making a trip here more often. If you want to meet new friends even the customers were nice and talkative. So editing this went back the next day to watch the bills play the hostess’s were so helpful and kind, nick was my waiter and was awesome. Tried the burger and mmmmmm very good. PJ definitely great pricing and great food. Even with all the eagles fan still hold conversations with out speaking up and yes the eagle fans there were very polite

This place was a busy place on Saturday evening. There was a wait but I got lucky and found a spot at bar. Was a bit loud with the football games on. I ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich but got a buffalo chicken wrap. I wasn’t mad because it was a very good wrap and I was hungry, but it was so loud the waitress got the order incorrect. The pretzel bites/queso were good. The staff was friendly and prompt.

So glad we chose P.J. Whelihan’s! Audrey, who is returning to Virginia Tech soon, (in pictures) was our waitress. We are sure she will be missed! She took excellent care of us, even though we were the only patrons sitting on the patio on an 80 degree afternoon, but we’re from Florida. “We” includes our dog, Bernie. “We” choose dog friendly businesses to patronize when “we” travel, and P.J’s looked like a good deal, especially since they welcome Bernie. It helped that they had half priced wings and cheese steak egg rolls. Bernie couldn’t finish all of his sweet potato fries as he filled up on the burger. We were glad to help him as they were amazing with the horseradish sauce! Blessings for the new school year, and all that lies ahead for Audrey and P.J’s

Went in for lunch on a Monday around 1. For a weekday it was very busy. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Huge TVs for viewing which would be great for football Sunday’s. Our server was great, obvious she was very busy, she was apologetic and checked in on us. As far as the food goes, I am gluten free and I can’t do any shared fryers so it was a huge bummer that even the naked wings are a no go. The only thing I got was the buffalo chicken dip. I couldn’t eat the chips because they are fried as well. I had it with celery and carrots. I had to request new celery because what came out originally was black with mold :/. Our sever was great at addressing it. My wife got the classic wings with hot honey sauce. She loved them and thought they were amazing. She said the ranch was delicious as well. Overall, not for gluten free people but good bar food. The buffalo chicken dip was delicious as well. I would recommend to gluten-lovers for a great football night with great wings (according to my wife)

The food was tasty, but when I was almost done with my salad I noticed a bug crawling in it. The waitress was great; she comped the salad and sincerely apologized. Although the food was originally good, I probably won’t be going back.

Amazing customer service from Manager Bill and Waitress Bri. We are not beer drinkers so had checked ahead on the website and saw they had Josh Cabernet and Chardonnay which we love. But…after ordering we were told they had no more Chardonnay. We expressed our disappointment especially since we were there on a Friday night ahead of the weekend crowd, kinda early to run out. Unbeknownst to us Bri let her manager know and someone went next door the Fine Wine and Spirits store and bought bottles of Josh Chardonnay, it was even chilled!! That level of customer service isn’t experienced very often!! Thanks to Bill and his staff and Bri!

My family and I are repeat customer. We’ve come so many times it’s just that good. The last time we had Meridth she was amazing attentive and knows how to joke around. This time we had Millie she was friendly and always had a smile. You cannot go wrong with the burgers. But if you love wings come on Tuesday it’s wing day and you won’t be disappointed.

Audrey was an amazing server! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect the whole time. She knew the menu well, checked in without being overbearing, and had such a positive attitude. Service like hers really makes a difference—she helped make our meal a great experience. Gabby was the best server! She got our drinks so fast and came out with an amazing salted caramel cookie. Bill was an excellent manager who checked on our table and made sure our experience was great! Definitely will come back when I’m in town! Love it here!!!
