The 8 oz top sirloin steak with double mashed potatoes aligned with the 2 for $25 is the best.
I took the other steak meal home for my roommate. Had it cooked to medium rare to keep the steak juicy and to also let my roommate cook the steak to her preference.
I sat at the bar since it was Friday, had an iced drink. There was an hour wait so sitting at the bar was perfect social. I could have sat there for the meal too but I had friend with me; a party of 3.
The service was polite, fun and very welcoming.

Even though it was Valentine’s Day we got seated within 15 minutes! This Momma ordered herself a drink to relax after a day of work and it was FABULOUS! Stuck to one though, as “it’s always good in the neighborhood” and we dont wanna ruin that!

COURTNEY is the best ever! The whole staff was greatly understanding of our large 8 person party with no reservation (we did call ahead to warn them, please do the same!), and let us order drinks and apps while we waited for the last three people in our party to arrive. The food was hot and fresh, the service was amazing, and we really felt like part of the ‘neighbourhood’! The manager Bob stopped by several times to check on us and make sure everything was up to par, but Courtney had everything handled. And our youngest guest loved her birthday song surprise!

Out of 6 people we got 1 meal up right away, trio appetizer. The wonton tacos didn’t have much flavor ; food was not hot. 10-15 min later the other food came. The soup bowl (small) was barely full and cold, cheese was not melted on the grilled cheese burger and was not pink as requested. The artichoke dip was cold in the classic combo. Great server, nice smile and friendly.

My only issue with this place is that the portions are getting really small. For example, a $5 side of fries is like a single layer of fries on a small tray more than once now. It’s kind of crazy how much the dishes cost now, and how small the portions are becoming. I filled out the survey on the email link they sent me, it asked if I wanted to have somebody reach out to me from the restaurant. I checked off yes, and nobody ever did. That was weeks ago. The food that you get is really good, and the staff are always very friendly. I’ve been getting food from here for years now, I’ve started ordering from them less, because the dollar value for the quantity just isn’t there.

Great service from our waitress. She remembered us from the last time we were in and even kept the conversation going from our last visit. She recommended a drink for me to try and it was really good and I’m very picky when it comes to drinks.

What a fun trip to Applebee’s! Thanks to the bartender, Karleirayn (spelling???) for making it fun! We arrived to no host, so after five minutes of being looked at but not seated, I asked the bartender if she could just take us, and she so graciously did! Some assistant or manager (name sounded like Shawn) interrupted our conversation and said some pretty chauvinistic things that landed offensively. We really enjoyed our server, but the other guy kind of rubbed us the wrong way.

I love eating at Applebee’s in Oxford. Whenever we come in we hope to get Courtney as our server. She is so kind and efficient. She always gets our order right and our service is quick. It’s almost like she can read our mind’s and knows what we need before we even ask. She’s incredible. Rock on, Courtney!

We never seem to get a bad meal at the Applebees in Oxford Maine. The restaurant can only have 50 customers at once inside, so we were politely asked to wait outside until people left. Once we were seated our server was very friendly. There was an employee doing a great job at cleaning all of the booths and tables after customers left, which was nice to see. Food was delicious and filling!!
