Social Profile:

Since our humble beginnings in 1982, Nino’s 46 has been a cherished gem in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Proudly family-owned and operated, we’ve stood the test of time, becoming a beloved fixture in the neighborhood’s culinary landscape. In 2011, tragedy struck when a devastating fire forced us to close our doors temporarily. But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, we returned in 2013, revitalized and ready to usher in a new era of Italian dining. Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. The result? A culinary masterpiece that seamlessly blends the richness of our heritage with the vibrancy of modern flavors.

Sleek, low-key spot for contemporary Italian fare, wood-fired pizza & creative lunch sandwiches.

Great Italian spot in Midtown! Despite its location, Nino’s 46 is cozy and the food is amazing. We started with the strawberry burrata (super fresh and delicious), along with shishito peppers and truffled mac & cheese bites which were so creamy and yummy. The pizzas were excellent, we had the Green Pie (vegetarian with goat cheese), while friends ordered the Truffle Prosciutto. We finished with the Spicy rigatoni vodka, pure comfort food. The staff was friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Lots of vegetarian options too. Definitely recommend, and a place we’ll come back to!

I originally found this restaurant because it was close to our hotel, and I’m glad I made a reservation for our small party—even though it was a Tuesday—since it’s on the smaller side, which is pretty standard for Midtown NYC. It’s a charming Italian spot with a cozy atmosphere. Prices were fairly reasonable for NYC, and our food came out fast. All the dishes were very flavorful, and the pasta-based entrées had generous portions. Overall, cute atmosphere, friendly staff, and great service!

Came to NY to endulge in some holiday festivities, so we decided to try this restaurant out for dinner. It’s a typical Italian restaurant in NY in a small place. I felt like we were packed in there like sardines . Overall I had a good experience, ordered the lobster dish and it was amazing, also tried their plain pizza which wasn’t bad. Food was a solid 8/10

It’s exactly what you would expect of a restaurant in Times Square. None of their pastas are fresh (they use dry pasta), so I wouldn’t get pasta here, especially considering the price they charge for the pasta… ordered the crostini and short rib. Fine, but I wouldn’t go again.

I thought it was very mid. Service was a bit slow. Our waiter brought two of the wrong things. We had spaghetti and meatballs and fuselli bolognese and the meatballs had little to no seasoning or flavor and the bolognese was bland. It wasn’t a bad meal but not great. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We did order tuna tartar and it was really good. The best part of the whole meal was the bread that came with the tuna. Honestly I would have just as rather have some street pizza.

We love coming here after a long day of shopping in Midtown. It’s a cozy spot, though it can get a bit warm inside (we’ve visited in both winter and summer). My sister and I always order the Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and a margarita pizza with pepperoni — all consistently delicious.

So good! The ricotta crosta was so unique and amazing! I also enjoyed the gluten free gnocchi.

The truffled mac and cheese was decent but on the heavier side, so I would recommend skipping it.

In contrast, the charred octopus was excellent, served with green mango and red onion. The tangy sauce complemented the perfectly charred octopus beautifully.

I ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka with an added chicken parm, and it was delicious. I just wish it had a bit more heat. Overall, I’d love to come back and try the pizzas next time!

Nice little italian spot in the heart of midtown. We came here for dinner and there were like 14 of us. We were accommodated nicely and the set up was perfect. a little warm inside but fine. we started off with some drinks, cocktails were really good. loved their version of a margarita. we also had some calamari and truffled mac and cheese to begin with and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. their pizza was really good and a must try for sure! we had the margherita and truffle with prosciutto and it was perfect. everyone loved it! the pasta were really good as well. enjoyed the linguine with clams the most! runner up with be the fettuccine with lobster and shrimp. pasta was cooked perfectly. nice and al dente. we had a great time here and nice service as well. kudos to Z and the other staff. we all had a blast! highly recommend this place

The food is super delicious! Besides, they can make almost everything gluten-free
