This one’s for Bob . The Chicago deep dish pie was excellent. Crust is buttery, sauce is bold and tangy & love the fennel sausage, with just the right amount of cheese. The onions were cooked down so they didn’t over power the sauce. Trust me, I’m not a fan of onions but this was delicious. No onion after taste for sure. The crust is not imitating a standard Chicago style crust which is what I love about it. The cornmeal crust is a nice touch and unique. Kudos to the owner for inventing something outside of the box. Also, our waitress Tiana was excellent. Had her 3 times now and she’s efficient, professional and very friendly.

Celebrated a family members birthday. Julep offered Delicious food, wonderful service, and a cozy atmosphere and ambiance. Shoutout to our lovely server Jackie who took great care of us! Our order included Biscuits, Catfish, Blackberry glazed chicken thighs w/collards and green beans (I’m black and from the South and for non homemade greens, they were SO well seasoned), Chicken Salad, and Cream of Crab Soup. This place did not disappoint. The Half and half tea was also delicious! This Place is a southern inspired gem.

I went to Julep on the recommendation from someone from work and a sponsor a highway sign . Honestly I am so glad I did! Jackie was my server and she was absolutely amazing. I ordered the biscuits because duh you have to! They were so big and fluffy and broke so easily. The butter tasted sooo good too highly recommend. Then I ordered the Blackberry Chipotle wings which they give you a good amount and covered in sauce. I really tasted the blackberry over the chipotle so it couldve used a bit more heat but still delicious. I wouldve also preferred more crispiness but thats just me. I would totally order again without a doubt! Now on to the main course i ordered the burnt ends special eith mac and cheese and it was soo good. The meat was so tender and the mac was so creamy. I finished it all with the southern smores and that was the perfect amount of sweet. 10/10 recommend if you are thinking of going GO

I’ve come a couple times now. Food is phenomenal! Literally finger licking good. I have not had one bad food item from their menu. Best cornbread I’ve had in my life! I’d pass on the sweet tea, that tasted watered down. Staff is great, location is clean, bathrooms are impressive – they even have toilet rugs which are great for elderly folks or anyone if the floors are wet.

Service was outstanding! All of his recommendations were spot on. I love a good Old Fashioned, and theirs is definitely ranking near the top for me. The food could’ve used a little more seasoning — just a personal preference — but overall, everything was great. I’ll definitely be back!

I tried Julep last weekend and I was very impressed. I had the Southern Egg Rolls and they were very delicious. I know it’s an odd combo but trust me it tastes so good especially with the dipping sauce. Also, I had the Chicken Fried Steak over mashed potatoes with macaroni and cheese . The chicken fried steak was bomb. I asked for extra gravy and my server gave it to me. The macaroni and cheese seemed like it was sitting for a while and it was dry. I asked to switch to collard greens (not pictured) and they did and they were really good. I’d like to come back and try the smoked fried wings and friend catfish.

Lots of options for everyone, everything was delicious! The HUGE biscuits for the table were an unexpected treat and they were served with a yummy pepper jelly. Yum!

Loved the catfish tonight! Big piece, flaky and fried to perfection. Crab dip was also pretty good. My boyfriend had the Burnt Brisket ends and he enjoyed that as well. We will be back
