Had the Chef bowl added Chipotle cauliflower. So tasty. Just enough spice, added salsa.
Update:
Went for dinner and our server was nice. We ordered the Mexican tacos meal which was great. The carne asada plate was really good as well, the meat was tender and not dry, good serving size, the sides were great as well. Our son had the Cheese quesadilla and he ate all of it, the fries were crispy and golden. 5$ margarita was a steal!
Went back again today! Good service as always. This restaurant is conveniently located in front of walmart. Our server was nice and accommodating. Great food and ambiance. We really had a great time. We came after the lunch rush so it wasn’t that busy and it didn’t take long for our food to come out.
*went back for the nth time for taco Tuesday! Food is Consistently good of course!
I’m a frequent customer of this establishment, but on this visit my experience was unacceptable. The service lacked attentiveness and the management failed to acknowledge obvious issues.
The waitress rushed through taking my order while prioritizing a larger party, which led to my order being incorrect. Chips and salsa never arrived until after the entrées were served—and only after I prompted for them. By the time my kids had finished eating, I asked for the check. Ironically, the order that had been wrong from the start arrived only after the bill was already on the table. I refused it, paid, and still left a tip.
I didn’t make a fuss, not because the mistakes weren’t significant, but because poor service speaks for itself. Customers deserve respect and consistency. As an HR professional, I am constantly evaluating service experiences, and unfortunately LaCarreta of Covington failed badly today.
Shame on the management team, who were fully aware of the situation yet chose not to step in. This kind of disregard is simply unacceptable.
