This Valentine’s Day afternoon completely turned around because of the amazing team at the Applebee’s on Airport Thruway in Columbus, GA. Before arriving, we had just left another restaurant where the service wasn’t memorable, so we decided to give Applebee’s a try — and I’m so glad we did.
Seven greeted and seated us with such a warm and positive attitude, and even though she wasn’t our main server, she continued checking on us throughout our visit. Rochelle M. was our waitress, and she was absolutely amazing — attentive, upbeat, and made sure we had everything we needed without us even asking. The teamwork between Rochelle and Seven created an experience that felt welcoming, genuine, and truly special.
Their energy and professionalism made our Valentine’s Day so much better that we said we would rather come back to this location twice a month than go to an upscale restaurant where the service doesn’t compare. Exceptional service like this is what keeps customers coming back!

Walked in host was excellent very nice and professional. Waitress was nice order a drink and water. Received both my mixed drink had bugs in it. Had I not stirred the drink i wouldn’t have known. One came to top and I don’t know if more than one was at the bottom.

“Our waitress was very nice, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The Bourbon Street Chicken was extremely oily and rubbery, so we couldn’t eat it. The chicken on the Quesadilla Chicken Salad was very cold and lacked flavor, and even the kids’ Alfredo pasta didn’t taste good my child wouldn’t eat it.”

The food was great!! I just wish the service had been better. The staff were too busy disappearing rather than waiting on the few tables that were occupied. Also, they need to do a little better about cleaning up when guests leave. There was food all over the tables and floors from other patrons fifteen to twenty minutes after they had left.

We got a late start to our day. Stopped here for a late night meal. Everyone was very attentive and very friendly. Probably the best Applebee’s service I have ever had and the food was delicious. The bartender was spot on with our drinks as well. 10/10 recommend and if ever in the area again, we will be back!!! Thank you for a great experience!

We dined in on a Wednesday at around 2:30pm and it wasn’t crowded at all. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The booths were extremely comfortable. We got the all you can eat boneless wings with fries. Everything we ate had great flavor. The boneless wings were tender and crispy(the way they should be). The service was on point. Our waitress made sure that our drinks always stayed full and kept checking in on us. We will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu.

We ate here last evening. Our server was great! The food , however, not so much…we both ordered the grilled cheese cheeseburger and both sandwiches were WAY too salty, and I typically add salt to food, but definitely not this time. The fries that came with it were way too salty, as well. They also did not have my favorite soda, Mr Pibb or Dr Pepper, so I settled for Mountain Dew. On a positive note, however, the spinach dip was great, and again, our service was super attentive and great.

My husband and I wanted to go for a quiet dinner to enjoy some time together. We sat at the bar upon the manager’s recommendation. I wish we had sat at a table. What I thought would be an enjoyable meal wasn’t. The bartender was having a bad day or something but I immediately noticed her bad attitude. Not sure if the music was too loud to hear customer orders but something was off. Not only did she get my order wrong and tell me I said what I know I didn’t. She also copped attitude with the customers across the bar and made the one’s beside us drink wrong. And then stepping out to smoke where I overheard verbal conversation of “I just had to step out.” Look, I get it. Times are slow and people suck. My husband and I are both in upper management and work at local restaurants in the city but please, get it together or if you’re unhappy with your job; quit.

Came here on 18 January 2026 around 7 pm, the place was empty, maybe 4 or 5 tables. The bigger blonde girl at the front door asked us if a high top booth would be OK even though we had two very small children….what a stupid recommendation. We order our food and I order a $20 drink for my wife, I see the bartender make it and it proceeds to sit on the side of the bar for almost 30 minutes before our waitress finally goes over there and grabs it, and it can’t be because she was busy there was less than 20 people in the entire restaurant. Our food comes out and my wife ordered the chicken Parmesan Alfredo and her chicken was so soggy that it you couldn’t eat it. And my daughter’s macaroni and cheese had the texture of it has been sitting all day and then was put in the microwave. Just overall a terrible meal/experience, spent $70 to get food that I could’ve gotten better at McDonald’s. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS APPLEBEES

never like the food coz it always tasted not fresh but today was so good! we got the oriental salad & cheeseburger that was so moist & not too salty. we also tried the all u can eat wings & riblet, was worth the price but I think they could do better with the breaded coz it was kinda thick & hard but still good so far! got the best server, Deborah she was so friendly & fast, not too loud but still gave a good service & kept coming back to us! tried bucket rum breeze, long island & margarita were tasty but maybe need more shot of alcohol
