We came for lunch on a recommendation after the Kohler Holiday Market Place. Cute place with lots of options on the menu.
We were excited to try multiple items between the 5 of us.
We were very disappointed and taken aback with our server Shoundra. She was very rude from the get go and snapped a few times at some people at our table. This completely turned us off about the whole restaurant. We actually couldn’t wait to leave.
We will not be back

Stopped to see the end of the Packer game after a craft show. There wasn’t even a bar open in this little town to view sports. The waitress and manager were super friendly and communicative. We had shared a piece of Dubai chocolate cake. It was okay, but I don’t really know if this was baked homemade, or a food service purchase? I do know that I don’t need to order that again at The Log Cabin. And, $8 is ridiculous for a piece of cake in a small town.

We get together with friends and catch up. Food is always been over the top good. You will never go away hungry from there. Power comes around to always say hello and thank us for stopping in. We’re always told to take our time no rush to leave. They want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your time with your family and friends. Every holiday season is verywell decorated.

Went and got a black forest sandwich and my husband had the 3 piece perch. Food was great! The staff was very friendly, service was fantastic, and the food came out quickly! We even got to meet the new owner who was incredibly nice! We will definitely be going back!

I’ve been to Log Cabin twice in the last two weeks, and both times were amazing! For lunch I tried the grilled chicken parmesan. The portion was huge and it tasted incredible. I came back the next week for breakfast and had the meat lovers skillet, and again the flavor was amazing. I even had to take some home because the portions are so generous. You definitely get your money’s worth here.
The owner, Ardy, is so kind and truly takes the time to get to know his customers. The whole staff was very friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were very disappointed last time we were here. We ordered breakfast and the amount of food we received was very small for the price we paid. Our waitress was very hard to understand and was very rude. She followed me into the bathroom to what I assume was to clean the bathroom. When I was in the stall doing my business, she propped the door leading into the bathroom open and I had no privacy. Patrons that were in the dining room could literally see into the bathroom when I came out of the stall to wash my hands. When my husband went to pay our bill, this same lady came out to help him at the register. She still had the same gloves on that she was wearing to clean toilets when she grabbed my husband’s debit card from him. Their food and service have always been excellent in the past, so we’re hoping this was just a fluke. I hope and pray they give this hard to understand and rude waitress some more training. I would hate for anyone to get sick from her.

We just happened on this place because we are traveling on highway 42 South instead of i-43. We were looking for a place to eat in Howards Grove and instead of continuing through town we took a right and like there it was. Rustic log building on the outside pretty cool and if you see the pictures the inside looks like an up north cabin, real cool.
Greeted when we walked in we were soon taken to a table. The walls are covered with various animal mounts and rustic cabin type artwork there is even two different canoes up in the rafters which look really neat.
The menu is quite extensive and there were three different types of soups on this Saturday and chili also.My wife and I looked over the menu and saw the heading comfort food. That caught our eye and we kind of gravitated towards the chicken fried steak. Some items on the menu sell with two different portion sizes so we decided to split a double portion of the chicken fried steak and for our sides we we got a salad and a bowl of chili. My wife also ordered the French onion soup.
As we were on the road I didn’t want any alcoholic beverage so I got the lemonade which I think could have been a little more lemony but it was okay it wasn’t too sweet. The food was really really tasty. Chicken fried steak patties we’re quite large covered with white gravy. The salad and onion soup were great and so was the chili (although don’t you agree that most places just can’t serve the chili hot enough?) This was a very pleasant place to dine and I think the local folks would agree?
Check this place out!

A nice return. The Sunday special was chicken and ribs. My wife and I split the special and got a salad and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was very good. I said maybe we’ll have room for dessert and we did? We had the caramel apple pie.
Yum!

Decided to give them a second chance after almost a year since the last owner sold. Server didn’t know the restraunt did not have root beer when we ordered, ended up changing my order to Mtn Dew, I asked for no ice in mine, yet the drink came with ice. We ordered the mini taco appetizer. All you could taste was the corn tortilla they’re made with almost no filling. For the main course, I ordered the chop steak and came with onions and mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and a choice of soup or salad. The “salad” was lettuce with 2 small grape tomatoes and a LOT of red onion. Steak and potatoes had no flavor. Mushrooms were very obviously canned. Chopped steak plate was swimming in what appeared to be grease and water. Not worth the price will not be returning.
