We were visiting the Newport area from Delaware to attend a wedding. We have eaten at this restaurant in the past and like before the price, the quality, the amount of food served, awesome customer service and atmosphere was 15 out of 10 stars. I had the Lobster and it was amazing, my wife ordered the Fried Scallops Dinner and received 8 huge scallops. As further testament my wife’s family is all from the area and raves about this awesome restaurant. It was so good we came back for breakfast the next morning and needless to say it was awesome. It is definitely a place where the locals come too dine and do I need to say more,

Was okay. The French onion soup was great. There was a mix up with our waitresses where they didn’t know which had our table so we waited a bit to get drinks. After that the service was pretty good. The marinaded steak tips were not great, they tasted like a wine sauce that hadn’t been cooked down or melded I to whatever else was in it. Would not recommend. The prime rib was okay as well, it came out essentially as rare as can be after requesting it well done. The fries were so salty I felt like I needed 5 gallons of water afterwards. The shaved steak nachos were not bad but barely any shaved steak included. All and all, I would not go back there, especially not for the cost.

Nachos seemed straight out of a commercial. Service was poor, but could be the staff is worn out due to a long weekend and high tourist rate. Overall, I’d be willing to give this place a second shot, even if only to go for the Nachos!!!! Absolutely insane Nachos!

The clam chowder was really good. I thought the lobster roll was okay. It wasn’t really anything special, and the taste didn’t really stand out that much here. I finished it off with an amazing Brownie Sundae that I shared with the family. Waitress was nice and polite. Straightforward with any questions asked.

Nice family place with plenty of parking. The food was good, not great. We had tthe artichoke salad and the seafood scampi. Chicken dish was bland, but was the better of the two dishes. Scampi lacked flavor and some of the lobster was too chewy to eat. Service was very good and prices are reasonable.

We decided to stop by here at the end of our vacation. What a treat! Food was delicious. Although the atmosphere is somewhat loud from all the people conversing. Place was packed! No outside tables although they are located right near the ocean. While it is not a place for a romantic dinner, it definitely is for a great meal!

Enjoyed our visit, the food was a smaller portion than I expected for $25 and no salad included. Also was disappointed no lemonade, had run out. The chicken was a little dry, but my wife enjoyed her chicken fajita. For a beach restaurant was good. Parking was good, and waitress was okay.
