Visited this place last month when came here for Smoky mountains trip. Dine inn is available and was pretty full during the time we went for dinner. Service was so good, the lady who served and helped us with the orders and menu was super quick. I tried fish tacos and it’s the best I’ve ever tried. Also tried Chicken fajitas, chicken enchiladas and few vegetarian dishes and was totally satisfied with both quality and quantity. Will definitely visit this place again. The waitresses aren’t very friendly and it seemed like they were talking about my bf and myself while we were at the register breaking a bill to leave a tip. They don’t speak or understand English well. The cheese dip was thin and not dippable. I’ll go to Toro in White Pine for great customer service and food every time from now on.

The food was okay, the carnitas didn’t have much flavor and one of our rice/bean plates had been sitting out too long (rice was crunchy and beans were crusty), the chicken wasn’t mexican style, but the salsa with the chips was alright. Our waitress didn’t give us any time to look over the menu, and when we asked for more time she was back in maybe three minutes tops. I would not likely come back here.

Casual Mexican restaurant tailored to the Southern American palate- not a whole lot of heat or spice added. Chips and salsa served once you sit down along with your meal. Margarita was decent albeit although I’m pretty sure the sour mix is not made in house.

My daughters and I came in for dinner and didn’t really know what to expect. We are from out of town and wanted some good Mexican food. The restaurant is decorated nicely but low lit and needs some updating. The waiter took our order and my daughter and I wanted the exact same thing minus one item. The waiter decided she needed a whole different menu item and even after I tried to clarify, he still brought out the wrong meal (which costed more too). When we finally got the correct order, the rice was crunchy like it had been sitting in the pot too long, and the steak was thin and chewy. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Clean and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Fajita. Real nice portions. They did not skimp on the sour cream and guacamole. I brought home the left overs (half the meal). The Sweet Tea was good.
