I ordered the STEAK-FRITES and chose the peppercorn sauce.
Steak was really good, and the fries were thinner and crispier than most places, which made them even better.
Peppercorn sauce had a slight kick and paired well with the steak. It also came with another sauce and ketchup on the side, which I liked.
I love wine based drinks, so I ordered an Aperol Spritz. It was tasty and stronger than I expected, but I still ended up having two.
It was my first time here, and I would come back again.

Zinqué on Melrose delivers exactly what you’d expect from the brand — consistently good food, great coffee, and that laid-back French-meets-LA vibe they’ve perfected. The location is spot-on, tucked right into one of the best stretches of Melrose, with a patio that makes you want to linger long after your plate’s clean.
Service was a bit on the slow side when we went, but the atmosphere more than made up for it — warm lighting, great people-watching, and an outdoor space that nails the “casual elegance” sweet spot.

This place is one of my absolute favorites! I love the vibe and the food here. My all-time favorite dish is the Le Bowl with steak, trust me, you won’t regret it. The mix of beans, rice, and salad in this bowl is just unbeatable!

This restaurant requires you to go up to the front to order and pay before they serve you. The avocado salad had maybe a quarter of an avocado, but other than that, the food was pretty good.

Fantastic spot for a date night or a dinner out with friends. The menu is pretty eclectic and it is one of those places were everything is equally delicious. The burger is very good as the meat is juicy and the fries have the right crisp to salt ratio. Unexpected standout was the green curry soup, served at the perfect temperature and with the right balance of creaminess and seasoning. The atmosphere is good LA vibes with the restaurant having indoor and outdoor seating. Service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant. My boyfriend and I are visiting from NY and we were busy exploring all day, which caused us to have a very late dinner. We called at 10:30pm to see if we were still able to eat, and they said yes that their kitchen doesn’t close til 10:45. We walked in at 10:40, and were kindly welcomed in. Their outside space and atmosphere is beautiful. The staff were all kind, and didn’t make us feel like we were in any rush. Their apple tart is so delicious which they make in house!
