I tried Miller’s Ale house for the first time and it was decent. I wouldn’t say it’s the most amazing food around. It definitely is your typical sport bar and American style restaurant. I would say that my meal was okay. I will admit that I’ve been to better sport bars in terms of the menu for example Tommy’s Tavern. At Miller’s I had the MiMi’s fiesta chicken and shrimp bowl. I would say it is a good restaurant if you want something simple and great for a causal meal out. The prices were also reasonable so perfect for an inexpensive meal. The service was awesome!

This was a wonderful experience! I was here with family and the atmosphere was great, fun without being boisterous. The food here is regular pub food, but done well. We ordered chicken wings and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both were good. I had the 5 pepper spice and was promptly disowned, but it was delicious. The atmosphere was lively and casual. The service was attentive. Finally for the highlight — the beer list. They have a long beer menu, including some locally brewed beer that is hard to come by. I especially liked the Asford Park amber ale. They have an extensive cocktail menu that I could only look at. We had a great time! I’m coming back.

Tasty food, good beers, nice & very friendly staff, diverse crowd, fast service, ample seating.

I love that they have lower calorie options, eg mimi fiesta bowl, but the standard staples are available and taste great.

It can get busy and a little loud during games. At all other times, there’s rarely a wait.

Good place for families, especially earlier in the evening. Not expensive.

This was my first time eating at the restaurant. The first time I ordered through Door Dash and the food was not good. So I figured I would try eating at the restaurant it maybe different. Well, I enjoyed the atmosphere lots of TVs, which is good because my family are big football fans. The waitress was really nice and patient with us. Now, the food, the sticky ribs, and mozzarella sticks were good as appetizers. We ordered the 35 shrimp meal that was good. I had the 12 wings with BBQ sauce and onion rings. I have had better wings and better onion rings. The meat was tough, and the sauce was not a good BBQ sauce. My mom ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and shrimp. She said the ribs were ok, not the best. We really enjoyed the Captain’s ice cream cake that was really good. Would I come back? Maybe if friends invited me out and wanted to eat here.

Miller’s Ale House was a pleasant surprise. Prices are pretty fair and affordable and the menu has plenty of variety. With a drink and entree you’ll spend anywhere between $15-$25 a person.

The service was just okay but the food tasted great. The wings were fresh and crispy. The shrimps were grilled and seasoned well. The burger tasted great and the patty was soft. Overall a great experience and will likely visit again.

Can’t give 0 stars but i would have – get there and hostess says we have to wait 5 minutes to be seated – there were plenty of empty tables so made no sense – but waited and finally got seated. After 15 minutes of nobody coming to the table and me telling hostess the same – we left – didn’t want to give that kind of place my money.

Food is delicious and atmosphere is uplift. Service can be quite slow. They told us the wait time was 25 minutes but in reality it was more like 10.

I noticed Miller Ale finally opened in Watchung so my friend and I stopped in for a drink. Atmosphere is nice, decent music playing, it’s spacious with two bars, TVs everywhere for your sports pleasures. Drinks were good but not strong in my opinion. Our food came out quick, only negative was our appetizers and entrees all came together. Having all that food in front of us was a bit awkward as we tried to eat a little of everything before it got cold. Our bartenders were good, could be just a little more attentive but overall we enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back soon.
***UPDATE*** Here’s an update, went back last night with a friend and it was great. Sat at the main bar this time, it has a cool view into the open kitchen. Decided to try their wings and sauces. One of the bartenders recommended the Hot Garlic and boy was he right, so good! I also had jerk, mild and Parmesan garlic. The drinks were better this time, Elias made them perfect.
