its a dark day for baseball lol no seriously I felt like the dude serving me almost wanted to fight becuse he was there. You can tell they put no effort and could care less about the food and service. I had been going there since i was like 9 im about to turn 40 so very sad to see this place go down. It used to be good i miss those days.

I ordered the cheese pizza. First of all the pizza was overpriced $5.99 for one slice is not worth it at least the pizza was big. Next the place is too understaffed one employee helping a huge line of people took about 30 minutes. After we finally got our pizza I tried it it was great one of the bests I’m glad it was big so I only ordered that. In general the pizza was good but too overpriced and understaffed I hope they improve.

I have eaten a lot a various Sbarros across the country. When did sbarro’s stop making NY style Pizza. The cheese slice I had when folded was the size of a Sicilian style, and no grease dripped. The side of spaghetti was 1lb of noodles and barely any sauce. I was very disappointed with the whole experience.

I went in to this Sbarros which is very far out of my way because I have nostalgia for malls and for Sbarros. Rest assured, I will not do that again. I am okay with Sbarros ending. The service I received was horrid. The guy could not have possibly cared less that I was there to give him money. He couldn’t even be bothered to stop listening to his headphones. There was almost no food available during lunch time. He was turning people away left and right because they wanted food and he didn’t want to make food. The counter was disgustingly dirty. There were no drinks except for fountain which I avoid. I honestly don’t understand why this restaurant is even open.
This was on December 22 which is about 3 weeks ago and is a VERY busy time for the malls which makes them not having food seem all the more confusing. While I was there, I emailed their franchisee via their website. I got an auto reply and then…. nothing. No follow up. No call. They literally do not care.
I’m not going back.
And Sbarros bot, don’t copy / paste the generic reply you paste on the 85% of reviews that are bad. This IS your comment card. Don’t shirk your duties as a franchisee then tell your customers to do your job. YOU should know these things. YOU should be paying for secret shoppers. YOU need to run your business and not try to have your dwindling customer base do that for you.

Pizza? No it’s Sbarro the mall pizza joint I would always have in my teens. I have always loved the mushroom pizza and the pasta options. Just don’t go near closing because they are out of many items but still always nice and clean for a quick bite

I’ve been here like four times total—mainly because I’m hungry and craving pizza while shopping—and someone please explain why the vibe is always off.
First time? I wasn’t with the person in front of me (like, clearly—we were at least three feet apart), but apparently that wasn’t obvious enough and I got snapped at.
Second time? I’ll take partial blame, I was distracted… but somehow that alone was enough to get yelled at.
Third time? They looked like they hated me. It was 3pm, dead quiet, just me in there—and I was being nice.
Fourth (and most recent) time? I was extra polite, on my best behavior… and still got hit with the death stare.
But I can’t lie… the pizza is good. Just good. Y’all need to lock in, though—because the crust shouldn’t be warmer than the customer service.

Be careful when you order at this place. I ordered a combo meal and they charged me a la carte prices. The first time it happened, I didn’t notice it until I left the counter so I let it slide. The 2nd time it happened, I pointed it out to the cashier. He was not too happy to correct his mistake. There’s not going to be a 3rd time.

We’ve enjoyed consistently great service at the Washington Square Sbarro! Many of the employees have been there a long time, and they’re incredibly friendly to us. “Mama” is our favorite, of course!
Pizza slice portions are generous, breadsticks are fantastic, spaghetti is delicious, and the garlic dip is wonderful. We’ll continue to come here often!

So we decided to change our order and apparently the staff members were mad about this. Surprised to see this is how they gave us our . Mind you my sister was waiting to feed my nephew so she tried to cut it and I was like no don’t except that from them! I asked to speak with a manager who was a bit more friendly and offered to refund us or give her the opportunity to replace our order. Unfortunately we were short on time didn’t want to wait any longer so we tried to make do with it. For the mess it was it did taste good just a bit disappointed that they had the audacity to serve that to us.
