Location is superb, right on water. Food was inconsistent – while the fried sea bass was 10/10, the two soups and shrimp with grits weren’t that great. Tables inside of the restaurant are very close to each other so it feels cramped.

This was our fourth time at the Palm Valley Fish Camp.
All visits arriving by boat or jet ski. The good news are the dock hands ready willing and willing and able to help you get rafted up if need be.

On this last visit we met the hostess and were quickly seated outside by the water.
It was a great table and close to the live music. Great music BTW. Seems to happen every Saturday and Sunday.

The menu is extensive. The menu is available to view online before you arrive to check out if it suits your fancy.
We tried Grouper Bites, Seafood Gumbo, Fish Tacos, Shrimp and Grits & Chicken Caesar Salad. I saw a table over a group enjoying the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich with vanilla ice cream in the middle. The cookie comes out heated and the ice cream is obviously in the middle. Deeeelicious. I wish I had skipped the entrees and went straight to dessert. It’s a really neat place to go and all of us had a great meal together at a wonderful location.

We will be going back again soon I promise.

Honestly, hands down: both the best hush puppies and calamari I’ve ever had. We split a great soup, appetizer and two entrees, fantastic meal. Sat out on the waterfront, would highly recommend.

I dream about the Spicy Seafood Linguine all of the time. Everything is so fresh and seasoned perfectly. Love the atmosphere and service is always top notch! I’ve also been to St. Augustine Fish Camp, and the food is consistent between locations. 10/10!!

A great dining experience. An all encompassing menu with excellent service. Todd was our server. The food taste from appetizer to dessert is exquisite. The natural setting overlooking the intracoastal waterway is a bonus.

We’re looking for a fish restaurant and choose this one just randomly. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful, nice and friendly staff, tidy place and delicious food. We ordered special meals that were a little more expensive than we expected but food was flavorful . Dessert was soft and delicious. While we ate we’re enjoying the atmosphere, flowers and river view. If you visit Jacksonville you should come here and make your own unforgettable experience

This was a very great experience.

We sat outside under the tent and the restaurant was full and the atmosphere was nice. Our server Tom was patient and helpful with the elderly couple I was there with. We ordered the steak, fish sandwich and blackened founder. The food was all so good and we got dessert to go. The peanut butter pie is delicious!

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food – you can’t miss this place.

Boat dock for patrons only. Outside seating offered in covered area, dock area, and tables under the trees. Surrounded by the most lavish, beautiful residences, the drive in and out is a treat.

Gator tail appetizer was outstanding! Salmon BLT sandwich and Fried Oyster ‘Po Boy sandwich were also very good.

Not your average side dishes, prepared with attention to every detail. Creamy, flavorful grits and lemony collard greens add a nice flair.

Check the daily specials board when you come in, they’re sure to please.

We came here for a late lunch (date day ) and were impressed by everything! The service was great (thank you Douglas and Brandy) and we wound up on an outdoor table with water views. We got appetizers, entrees and dessert and it was all great. The server was helpful and honest and we will definitely be back!!

My friend and I had lunch at this place. Having found a place to
Park as we came into the parking lot we parked ourselves and did not avail ourselves to the complimentary valet parking. We were promptly greeted and seated. We were directed to a table outside in a covered area. I wanted to sit closer to the water so I requested to be seated towards the back. We were seated at a picnic table, there was some construction going on at the lot next door too much dust and noise drove us back to the covered area in the restaurant. The place was modestly decorated for Christmas. The charm of this place is the bright and airy feel it has. It clearly has an upscale atmosphere. The staff is courteous and busy. The place was doing brisk business as most of the tables were taken. I ordered the fried green tomatoes that came with a red remoulade sauce. I found the sauce a bit vinegary lacking in flavors, I would have preferred a choice of an aioli sauce instead. The tomatoes were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside still they lacked a certain kick that makes this type of dish pop. My companion had a salad with shrimp that she seemed to enjoy. I would go back to try some of their more substantial dishes another time. It is a fine place to have a leisurely lunch by the water and take in the ambience. I believe the place would be beautiful at night as well.
