We came in specifically for the gumbo, only to find out it had been taken off the menu. Which was disappointing since that was the original reason for our visit. That said, we pivoted and ordered the étouffée and it was a solid choice.
The étouffée was well executed: rich, comforting, and properly seasoned. You can tell care went into the base and balance of flavors. That said, I’ve had versions elsewhere with a bit more depth and complexity, so while this one was good and satisfying, it didn’t quite reach “best I’ve had” territory.
Service, however, really stood out. Multiple drink refills without having to ask, attentive but not intrusive, and very accommodating. We also ordered a seafood boil, and they did a great job setting us up properly clean table, bibs, extra gloves, and everything needed to dig in without turning the table into a disaster. Small details like that make a big difference in the overall experience.

The sauces deserve a mention as well: wide variety, well made, and genuinely delicious. Especially for anyone who loves spicy food. Plenty of heat options without sacrificing flavor.
One small suggestion: the fries could benefit from more sauce or added texture to elevate them a bit. They’re fine as-is, but there’s room to make them more memorable given how strong the sauces are.
Overall, this is a dependable spot with excellent service, good food, and a fun, hands-on dining experience. I’d absolutely return and I still hope the gumbo makes its way back onto the menu at some point.

Seafood was half cooked and rushed had to come home and boil them…..After spending over towards $90 nobody should be giving half cooked seafood and I pray that I don’t get sick this is not suitable to give anyone RAW SEAFOOD this need to be reported and fixed….Then they don’t answer the phone when u call and there’s no way to contact them it’s just isn’t right this is a unhealthy and the waiter LORENA L G isn’t great with things she rushed and gave out food so fast like she knew something wasn’t right the Corporate needs to adjust this problem and I feel I should be helped among this situation

Late dinner. The waiter was very nice and gave us extended tour on the menu. The food was delicious, we took a seafood boil set. Food and beer was served quickly. Very nice place, liked it a lot.

This place is ok, im sure it seen better days. But two things occurred while dinning there. 1st..my order was never placed. 2nd..hair was in my food after I recieved it. My only suggest for this place is….”COMUNICATION!!” and hair nets when cooking because that hair was cooked into my food. Lol

Justin does not need to be a server. He’s team lead but was our server last night, ruined our entire night. Too much energy and treats customers like part of crew. Leave us alone and let us eat. He also hardly acknowledged my guest and kept giving me the death stare as we ordered, I repeated 4 times I want medium spicy level, just give me what I order, I’m trying to make it easier but he wants to go back and forth overcomplicate everything and made my GF so anxious. Not only that forgot stuff and kept interrupting and rushing us to hurry and order even though we had just walk through the door. Spent $70 on food had to get it to go bc he made things that uncomfortable. I called an hour ahead of time to confirm availability on blue crab also and was told yes. We go in Justin tries to tell me they are sold out but was also wrong about that too and we got our blue crab however didn’t even get to eat it. A disappointing shame. Tbh was starving and the whole experience was just way too much, they pretty much ruined my appetite so it is what it is. Have been coming here 7 years. That was the last time.

I am very impressed with this establishment. There was one waitress who did a terrific job. She greeted the customers upon entering the diner. This was on September 20th around 2pm. She was the only waitress during that time not sure why there was no one to assist her with the orders, but Kuddos to a job well done. She was on point taking the orders from four or more tables and each table had at least 3 or more people in their party. Hopefully she will be there when we visit again… I can’t explain or begin to.say how delicious the food was. Everything was cooked to perfection. The food was so tasty. By me talking about this place makes me hungry. If I was rich, which I am not,or nowhere near that status, I would probably at some point go broke just dining at this facility. Thanks to the cooks and those who make this place a wonderful dining experience.

My first time there and I must say I was disappointed. Slooow service. The shrimp was not easy to peel. They don’t bring all the food at once. Very simple and plain menu. Not a lot of options. Angry crab is better. Oh and the bathrooms were disgusting!

Justin, Nathan and Lorena did their very best to help me find a great supper, even though I could not tolerate hot spice. Great job was done by all! I really enjoyed my crawfish and noodles dinner.
