They are SOOO SLOW here. It’s doesn’t matter what you order, it takes FOREVER!
I ordered mozzarella sticks and I waited 15 min for them. I get that they’re made to order but 15 min!!!!!???? In the drive thru???? There was only ONE car ahead of me and only TWO cars in the drive up spots

My friends and I went to Sonic last night and we arrived at different times so we ordered at different times but we ended up waiting for over an hour for the majority of our orders despite being there before most of the other people. The staff started prioritizing the drive thru over us and even people that came later got their food first and they weren’t small orders. We had to ask about our orders 5 different times and the staff didn’t seem to really care about our orders at all. I’m not going to be back anytime soon and I would never recommend this place

Came and ordered a combo I wanted it to come with fries and I ordered a mozzarella stick on the side. I noticed that it was rung up as my mozzarella as my side and no fries so I questioned the lady taking the order and she said yes it comes with your combo so I said ok thank you. Order came out and no fries. I pressed the button and requested for my fries and the manager came out stating I didn’t order any and that I didn’t confirm with the order taker or anything. This manager Eli was extremely rude about how his employee was correct and I wasn’t. My food was hard all the cheese came out of my mozzarella sticks. This place does not need to ran by Eli. He’s making the quality of food and service go down tremendously.

15 minutes for an in app pre-order for pick up is diabolically slow. Either up staff or get a new team, you wonder why you got low traffic at a prime location? Take a look at the time it takes for just 2 drinks. Or even 1 drink. This is ridiculous

EDIT. after 20mins received my drinks….and they weren’t even what I ordered. How do you mess up 2 drinks while being 20min late is beyond me.

Sonic food, but consistently very slow service.

Hello fellow Carolinians! As I live near this Sonic it is often an easy comfort choice. But more and more often I had better not arrive thirsty or hungry.
Arriving at 9pm in rural NC you wouldn’t expect much of a line… But my photo only shows the 2 cars ahead of me, not the 2 behind me. And this is not a crazy rush time. The cars behind me arrived several minutes apart.

I blocked the plate number of the car ahead of me. While we had time to get acquainted, swap numbers and life stories, I chose not to. 15 minutes since arrival, and I decided to start writing a review. Because that’s a substantial delay.

It’s not a headcount issue. I got bored enough to take a lap around the store, and there are four (4) employees. Not a lot of cars at the carhop spots either.

To prepare yourself in this weather, bring a pillow and bottled water and pee before arriving. Patiently wait about 8 to 12 minutes after you get up to the ordering spot (or press the ORDER HERE button and wait 5). Place your order, but do check carefully as they read it back. Must be hard to hear. And then wait. And wait. to pay and get your food. Recline your seat. Stay hydrated. There’s time, trust me.

When I stop by for a limeaid and burger in the evening it’s often a 20 minute wait. But tonight the two cars ahead of me have not paid yet either. Wish me luck!

Update? 22 minutes in by the wall clock and the car ahead of me gave up and drove away without their order. Will this release me sooner? Probably not.

This is possibly the worst option you can choose for food. Decided to give it another try today, and that was a mistake. The speed was slow and once again they forgot our condiments. As drinks we ordered ocean water and sprite. Upon taking a sip of my drink I realize the soda is out. I pull back in and inform them its out. They come out and say the ocean water was made with soda water because they are completely out of sprite, so what what the sprite made with? This was 2pm on a Saturday.

Oily fries I had to send back twice seems like they just reheated the old fries I said were nasty and stuck together like a brick. Cardboard cafeteria patties which were hard and seemed like they were from earlier. $30 dollars for crap and crap service. I’m livid but the idiots that work here aren’t worth messing up my life or night further.

Every single time I come to this sonic it takes forever. I thought the point of fast food was for it to be fast. Ordered on the app before even leaving the house hoping this would speed up wait times. Still waited for over thirty minutes. Mind you all we ordered was two iced coffees. There are hardly ever any cars in the parking lot so the service should not take this long. I have been to other sonics and am in and out before I would even receive our order at this one.

My kids are obsessed with this place and I would love to bring them more often but sadly it takes about 1hr plus to get your food. THIS IS NOT THE STAFFS FAULT. It is the corporation that hates their workers. Bc they rather save 5 bucks to their shareholders then to pay their workers a living wage and hire enough people to handle their service load

They are always slow and have attitudes and kids at night makes it no better came to drive thru to just get a slushy and ice creams…the lil girl answered with a attitude and said ” well the kitchen is busy you gone have to wait” smack her teeth and I told her I was just getting slushy and ice cream had a attitude talking about what I want then waiting ten minutes before my drinks was brung out they in there just standing around the way not busy was not even five cars..finally came out bring my things then gave her my cash she never came back out the dude (says he manager) came and I ask
For my change at this point I’m getting pissed do I end up getting out the car going in the door nobody working they all
Just chillin even kitchen staff like they not at work and don’t have customers ( people who help make they pay check not waiting) demanding my money right now she said she need a calculator smh remind you my order was $8.11 and I gave her $20.11. Don’t have to worry about me coming back…I always heard bad things about this location coming from Tennessee it’s nothing like this one WILL NOT GET MY MONEY EVER AGAIN!!!
