I visit sushi kola a lot! The food is always great. I’ve never had a reason to write a review, but the bathrooms were absolutely DISGUSTING the last time I went. Buildup all over the sinks- it looks like they don’t ever clean them. Nobody wants to eat at a place with a bathroom like this.

This establishment markets itself as an “all-you-can-eat” experience, yet operates as though every ingredient is coming directly out of the owner’s personal stash. The portion sizes are deliberately stingy, with sushi rolls that are 90% rice and barely any filling. Meat selections were repeatedly skipped over, and the sashimi portions were laughably small—each piece no larger than my pinkie finger. There is nothing “all you can eat” about this place; you’re simply paying $26 per person for a plate full of rice. The price is not remotely justified for the lack of quality, variety, and value offered.

I’ve been to Sushi Kola several times, and the sushi is always fresh and really well made. The quality is consistently good, which is why I keep coming back.
My only small gripe is portion size — I totally understand that it’s AYCE, but a slightly thicker cut of salmon would honestly make my day. Even with that, it’s still a solid spot for fresh sushi and a reliable go-to when you’re craving it. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is not self-serve. It was $22.90/person for weekends and dinner. It would be cheaper if you were to stop by during lunch on a weekday. I enjoyed their shrimp and steak hibachi the most. Sushi is okay. There is no dessert included in the price. The place is nice and clean for an all you can eat place. Not bad at all.

We went for dinner on Valentines night. Myself, Hubby and my son. We were told 30 minutes for a table ended up being 50 minutes. They were packed. We got seated and had the best waitress her name is Patty. She was friendly, on top of everything and everything we ordered came out quick (despite how busy they were), hot and fresh Every time we come it’s delicious but last night the experience was the best and Patty made that happen. Highly recommend Sushi Kola. One recommendation for Sushi Kola would be to have those fried donuts.

I’ve been coming here for years even with management and name change. I recently came here on a weekday for sushi. $15.99 for all you can eat. The menu is very limited at lunch now. Jive noticed the quality decline. It’s starting to feel like “fast food” sushi instead of a real sushi experience. I had two rolls, crab Rangoon, and a steak hibachi. Not sure I’ll be back honestly. It’s mostly just rice, sauce, and fried. The bathrooms are in disarray, with nearly all of the color stripped on the floors. Would recommend trying somewhere else for sushi. There are many places in Fredericksburg.

Have been several times, go during lunch if you’re available. Pricing is much more reasonable per person for lunch and there isn’t a time limit. Service is fast, they’ll let you order multiple items at once to keep the supply going. Very friendly buffet and clean. Everything is always tasty, and the environment is calm and friendly.

I went to Sushi Kola for the first time recently, I’m surprised I didn’t know it existed with how often I drive through the area! Anyways, coworkers and I stopped by here after work and had a great time. It was the weekend so there was about a 15-20 minute wait (they’ll text you when the table is ready.) Our server was friendly and attentive despite being busy with a full house. We each ordered multiple plates, agreeing the favorite was the salmon roll. Never have I had such fresh salmon other than when I was in Japan. I would love to visit again and try more of their rolls. Atmosphere was fine, just busy and loud due to it being a busy Friday evening. For the most part, I saw parties of 1-6, I didn’t see if they had a space or tables for larger groups.

We ordered 6 rolls and 8 sashimi pieces. Two plates were dirty, one was greasy on the bottom and the other was sticky.. the rolls we ordered didn’t have sauce, so definitely not from our order. When the order came back, only 3 rolls didn’t have hair in them.. when we spoke to the manager, her response was.. it is probably from honey… not sure when honey became greasy. She then said that she couldn’t see the hair.. so she put the plate to her face.. then she finally saw it and said, “oh.. ok”. She charged us for one child and one adult meal instead of 3 kids and two adults and gave us two 10% off coupons.. we definitely will not be using those. Never returning.

Perfect spot for a sushi date!! I brought myself to try out some rolls and to my surprise I was met with a fantastic all you can eat sushi deal! I was well taken care of, treated well, and left satisfied and full. I mean like wow thank you Sushi Kola! 10/10 will be back again 🙂
