I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, it used to be soooo good. We went yesterday and I told my husband it may as well be called Los Cracker Barrel now. The food looked great, but it was deceiving, it just lacked in flavor.

A wonderful locally owned business making delicious food. I had the birria tacos. They are hit or miss at different places. They were out of this work here. You can taste all the seasonings and the beef is amazingly tender. They donated a bunch of food to the local shelter as well. That says a lot about them. Awesome place. Great food. Wonderful staff and they all have big hearts and give back to the community. I can’t thank you enough. I hope you enjoyed the pictures. I did get to snack with some of the people down at the shelter. They were ecstatic. Thanks to you and your kindness, we all got to enjoy some of your wonderful creations. Everyone was all smiles.

Today we arrived as a party of 7. The new person in charge looked at us as if we were intruding. When he asked how many I said 7 he said just grab a 6 top. There are several in the restaurant however we picked one in the general area he pointed. Keeping in mind there are 7 he asked the remaining person standing if they were going to pull up a chair. It’s your job to seat me, not mine! Our food was worse than before and prices have hiked. Which is understandable however the service & food have went so downhill. The new manager looked at guests with disgust when they entered the restaurant while he sat in the back laughing and hanging out with friends dressed in what looked like clothes that have been laying in his floor for a week. This was our last chance given to him. Spread the word so others don’t waste their $ or time!

This was super easy to get in and out of on Valentine’s Day evening. Other options had a 2 hour wait and here we were seated immediately. The food was amazing and I enjoyed there being less people so we could hear each other.

Overall, this was a solid place. The taste and quality of food varies by location. In my opinion, the Lone Oak one is way tastier.

The waiter was great and prompt. The fajitas with chorizo were (bland), didn’t quite hit the spot. The tortillas were not authentic, which is always a letdown. I suggest cooking the salsa a bit more. For Kentucky, the Mexican food is decent.

One of the best locally owned places for Mexican food. Steak Fajita Nachos and the Sopapilla make for a staple dinner. Note: You may want to confirm what kind of ice cream they have when you order. I’ve been unfortunately surprised a couple of times with chocolate instead of vanilla.

This is a very large restaurant with a ton of Mexican dishes to choose from. The salsa was really good- but if you want to heat it up, ask for the scorpion pepper sauce or one of the habanero sauces. The food is well prepared and fresh. The frozen margaritas were out of this world. If you’re thinking of having one, maybe start with a smaller one- we had the large and it took a while to drink- without losing any flavor if you know what I mean! We’ll be back!
