We used to eat at the original one in Brooklyn when we lived there. This one was fantastic. The sauce is so good, the mozzarella was fresh and beyond tasty. The coal fired brick oven gives the pizza a flavor that can’t be beat. We also got a calzone which was super. Great atmosphere and the waitress was terrific. If we lived near here we would go all the time.

We were soooo excited to discover this place. The service was fast, efficient, and pleasant. We were seated promptly, the place was busy, and staff was hopping. But in spite of this no one seemed frazzled or stressed. We had pizza and wine. The “Don” with meatballs, Italian sausage, pepperoni and added olives. It was amazing, New York style. The crust was thin with a little crispy chew. Thes sauce had great flavor. We also shared a chocolate dipped cannoli. This was such a great change from a lot of the other places we have been.

First time Having brick-oven pizza. It was so good!!! I will definitely be wanting to go back. I’m not really into thin crust, but there’s just something about this pizza that made it taste so good. Everybody was super friendly and our waiter was patient as I could not make up my mind with what I wanted. Had a good time with good food !!!

My family let me choose where I wanted to eat for my birthday and I wanted to try someplace new… and I think I just found a hit for my family. This was the best pizza I’ve had in so long! The salad was phenomenal as well! Great atmosphere and service as well. I believe a chef came out and even gave my kids some dough to play with while we waited! 10/10 I recommend it if you’re down in the North Alabama area!! I’ll be a frequent customer from now on!

Went on a date night & chose Grimaldi’s. It’s a very nice place & a beautiful day to sit outside. The service was great & friendly. We got the extra pepperoni & hot honey large pizza, a cheese pizza to have as an appetizer, 2 beers, a Coke Zero I was happy they had, & a Caesar salad. The cheese pizza was good & crispy, had a good taste. The salad was the best to me, the pizza didn’t taste as good as the rest. To me it was a 5 out of 10. Not bad but not all that. We paid $90 for our dinner. I’d say I’d recommend it but not for me personally,

Extremely disappointed with Grimaldis lately. I usually eat here once every two weeks because the pizza is great. But the last two times I’ve placed orders online for delivery, they have gotten the order wrong. It’s really frustrating.

Grimaldi’s is a great place for brick fire pizza. They have a lot of great options and menu toppings or you can completely customize your own. They offer quick service and the pizzas come out fast. I do want to caution people that they use real mozzarella and for kids it can be a different texture and they may not love it. I would recommend asking for light cheese or to bake a little bit longer so the cheese caramelizes. This is the place to go for delicious pizza!
