Right in the center of Downtown Winter Gardens… very clean. TV all over. Friendly staff. Food was delish. I got 9 piece wings (Honey Mustard), my partner a huge Portbello Hamburger w/ potato salad. My grandsons ordered chicken tenders & fries. Even their food was delish. Love how the tenders were breaded. 100% recommend this location. Very popular.

Love this place! Friendly staff and delicious food. The fried green tomatoes are a must have. It has a chill relaxing atmosphere. Dive bar feel. If you’re a beer person, be sure to check out their 99 kinds of beers. You can taste they use real white meat chicken on the grill.

We’ve experienced this restaurant a few times before and enjoyed the experience much more than tonight. Not sure what was the issue preventing a decent level of service but it was rough. It was seat yourself inside and outside. We sat down at a table and had to basically bus it ourselves. A server stopped by quite a while after we sat and took the dirty dishes away that we had stacked, she wiped the table, brought us disposable silverware and menus and left us for at least a half hour. Now, tonight was the Downtown Winter Garden Holiday Market and Golf Cart Parade so the city was busy. All of the tables in the restaurant were filled and with seat yourself,there was not a waitlist to get in. They had a “special menu” fir the night that was a little more limited than normal but no big differences.
Once our server stopped by to take our orders, we didn’t wait long to get our drinks. Two of us ordered beer by the bottle, they brought them to the table with plastic cups as they ran out of chilled glasses and one of the beers was served room temperature. Our food was served within a decent amount of time later and fries were our sides. The fries weren’t hot, but they were just ok. The sandwiches we ordered tasted fine.
We were a party of five with just two checks. We gave our server our separate credit cards with the proper bill….the server somehow got confused and charged each of us the wrong bill. Rather than wait fir her to return and ask to have it fixed we just paid what we were charged then one of us sent the other money via Venmo.
We will return to this restaurant likely again…hopefully they will do better next time. You might think that all of the restaurants in town would be better prepared fir a busy evening…but this one really wasn’t tonight.

I loved the history of this restaurant on Plant Street in Winter Garden. The bar is made of reclaimed wood from a bowling alley. There is a huge propeller from a blimp prototype that was hanging from the ceiling.
If your were meeting the boys to have some beers this is your place. The food was ok. The burgers, ordered medium well, were well done and slightly above average.
The servers were nice. The whole place could use a deep clean. Some light fixtures have not been cleaned in years.

My first time here: place is incredibly musty and the design is very outdated. Service wasn’t great either, in terms of friendliness. Everyone did that thing where they all watch the new table but quickly dart eyes away as if it to say “not my responsibility.” Eventually, someone came to greet us and give menus. The food was fast though. I got the margherita pizza and it was pretty good, I ate the entire thing myself with ease. My friend got the shrimp tacos, she said they are absolutely amazing but I didn’t try them. Looked pretty bland to me. Also not a fan of having politics shoved down my throat while I’m trying to eat (decor). No diversity in the staff (or the patrons for that matter). Someone alerted me to the derogatory name of the restaurant after my dining experience. Wouldn’t have spent a dime there if I knew before hand. Will not be back.

In searching for a place to have lunch in Winter Garden, which is a halfway point between those of us meeting up, I came across MoonCricket. I liked the name. There was outside seating, and the menu looked good. We got the Bam-Bam Shrimp and Pork Rind basket for starters. Both very good, but I definitely recommend the pork rinds. They are cooked fresh, hot, crispy, and flavored perfectly. Most of us got burgers of some sort. I got the Mediterranean Lamb Burger. It was so juicy! The goat cheese and Tzatziki Sauce set it off for an overall excellent flavor. Hubbie got the bacon cheese burger, which was also cooked great and very tasty. Our server was attentive, the inside seating/bar quaint, and quite a bit of outside seating for the space. Very happy with the experience.

Great big tasty, fresh, salads. Cool local spot with nice outdoor seating. But They do need to wipe down their salt n pepper shakers and the oil and vinegar.. so super sticky we had to go wash our hands after using the salt shaker etc.
