What an awesome find in Blue Ridge! So many gluten free options! The deserts were incredible. The Cuban coffee was yummmm, the plantains, bowl and Florida style Cuban sandwich were all exceptional! Can’t wait to come back!

Truly excellent Cuban sandwich. Delicious empanada, tamales, and green sauce (with a little heat). They packed the tamales could for the trip home and they reheat very well. The rum cake is wonderful. Well worth a stop if you’re in town – worth a side trip if you’re anywhere nearby.

Yum yum yum! We truly enjoyed our Cuban meal at Rum Cake Lady Cuban Cafe. My husband and I split the cuban sandwich, croquettes, maduros, and chicken empanada. We enjoyed some Cuban sodas as well. The hospitality was excellent, as was the food. The only thing that would have made it better is to have some mojitos with our meal. 10/10, we’ll definitely be back!

Do not skip this place when you visit Blue Ridge! The food was some of the best on our trip. We got the Tampa Cubano and Media Noche for lunch – both were so good! I tried a guava & cream cheese pastry which was to die for! We also got coffees to go and a rum cake tower to try multiple cakes. All of them were great! So good that we went back and got 2 full size cakes to take to Thanksgiving! In addition to all these great foods, all of the people working were so nice. They were so nice and helpful! Highly recommend!!

A must stop every single time we’re in Blue Ridge. The Cuban rum cake lady is truly one of our favorite traditions. We drive from west Palm beach daydreaming about the Cuban sandwiches, they’re better than any place in Florida. We plan our trips knowing we’ll stop here, and it never disappoints. If you’re in Blue Ridge and skip this, you’re missing out. Absolute gem.

The Rum Cake Lady was truly the highlight of our North GA mountain getaway. We took the scenic train and had a two hour layover to explore and eat. We made the best decision to eat here. We’re from Tampa Bay and ordered the Tampa cuban. It was the best Cuban we ever had in our lives and the rum cake was absolutely delicious! Met the Rum Cake Lady. She was the sweetest! Service was great! Atmosphere was fun and happy! I’m going to plan another trip here just to go to The Rum Cake Lady because it’s just that good!

We lived in Tampa and fell in love with Cuban food and was so happy to see the Rum Lady in the north Georgia mountains! We had a steak sandwich and a Cuban and they were the best we’ve ever had! What an authentic, awesome hole-in-the-wall! We have been on the hunt for good Cuban food, that even resembled our life in Miami a little but, since we moved to GA, and this is it! We stumbled upon it on the way back from vacation and it was a perfect ending to our getaway. We tried a little bit of a lot and it was ALL delicious. The owners and staff are so sweet too. They talk to you like you are family. Love, love this place.

My experience at Rum Cake Lady Cuban Restaurant was great! I stopped there on my Blue Ridge train ride. The service as well as the food was excellent. I ordered their vegetarian bowl with their vegan meat. The bowl was fresh and tasty and I was glad to have added the vegan meat!
