It wasn’t terribly busy, so we were served quickly. Our server was fantastic, very calm and quick. She overheard us debating two menu items, and when we ordered one, she let us know the other is better- so kind! (And she was right, it was amazing!)
Food and drinks came out quickly and were DELICIOUS! Our server was also training another server, and she was doing a great job, very on point and looking for how to help.
You know a meal is good when you wake up at 2 am for the bathroom and are tempting to grab leftovers on the way back to bed!
Can’t wait to go back!
We started with the fried calamari—it was just okay, nothing special. Our server was friendly and helpful throughout the meal. We ordered Coke, but it tasted flat, almost like it had no flavor. We also got soup, which turned out to be way too spicy for our taste, so we asked to swap our soups for something else.
We ordered sushi as our main course. Again, it was just fine—nothing bad, but not memorable either. The atmosphere outside was nice overall, especially if you want to relax with a drink and enjoy the street view, but the presence of bugs really took away from the experience.
One other downside is the parking—it’s very limited and hard to find a spot nearby.
In summary, Sushi O has a nice vibe and decent service, but the food and cleanliness (especially outdoors) need improvement. I might come back for drinks, but probably not for a full meal.
The rolls were tightly wrapped, the fish was buttery and fresh, and even the garnishes of ginger and wasabi tasted crisp and clean. I also really appreciated the thoughtful extras like the sprouts and onion slices, which added a nice freshness to the meal.
It’s clear a lot of care went into both preparation and presentation. Easily one of the best takeout sushi experiences I’ve had—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Parking- there is a parking deck in the back and you don’t have to pay if you are dining here. Just let the host know your parking spot number. Love that.
Food- TOO GOOD. So we got the Chicken Pad Thai, steak and shrimp hibachi, the sesame chicken, and hot and sour soup!
Sushi- Spiderman Roll, Surf and Turf, Flamingo, spider roll (I think) and the Crunchy King
Everything was really good but my favorite was the Spider-Man roll!
This was some of the best pad Thai I have had and it’s not spicy at all but still full of flavor. The hibachi gave everything that it needed and the steak was tender. You honestly can’t go wrong with sesame chicken! Crispy and juicy!
Now that hot and sour soup! 8/10 very good and the flavor was deep!
Oh the chicken and shrimp fried rice – 10/10 for me!!!
Service- the lady that served us was very sweet and attentive. The restaurant gives a great ambiance and we all enjoyed our time there!
Would definitely come back!!! Check them out and #tellemGabbbsentya!
I was quite disappointed with the level of hospitality displayed by the host during my recent visit. I arrived to pick up my order and waited patiently at the counter for nearly ten minutes without acknowledgment. During this time, the host returned to the counter multiple times but continually overlooked both myself and another guest who was also waiting for a pickup.
As additional customers arrived, the host chose to assist two women who came in after me, despite their order not yet being ready, and once again left the counter without addressing my presence. After approximately fifteen minutes of waiting and being bypassed several times, I finally managed to get her attention. When I informed her that I was there to collect my order, she appeared visibly annoyed. To my surprise, my food had been ready the entire time.
This lack of attentiveness and professionalism created a very unpleasant experience. Although I tried to remain patient, the repeated disregard and dismissive attitude were unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to reconsider returning to this establishment in the future.
