China Buffet has large, spacious dining rooms with a touch of retro vibe. The pocket friendly pricing attracts large crowds and families, hence the signs everywhere reminding you to keep an eye on your kids. They offer a huge selection of dishes, making it easy for everyone to find at least one tasty option. Overall, I love the flavors combined with the great price point!

PLEASE READ!! DO NOT GO TO THIS NIGHTMARE OF A BUFFET! I went to China buffet for lunch and I noticed the food tasted alitte off. But I have been to many Chinese buffets so I didn’t think anything of it. About 6 hours later, I threw up about 9 times and was likely food poisoning as I was tested for covid and flu which came back negative. I spent my next day in the hospital hooked up to machines because of how bad my condition got. I have never gotten this sick before and it’s because of this “establishments” unacceptable and lack of sanitation, and food which likely had bacteria in it which had been sitting out for hours before. Unless your looking to ruin the rest of your week, do not go to this restaurant.

Average buffet for the price range. There are enough good options, everything looked fresh. I had what I usually like which are shrimp cocktail, mussels, salmon, Korean bbq ribs, general Tso chicken, and fresh food for dessert.

The food was okay—nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. What made the experience uncomfortable was what happened at the end. After paying, I did not leave a tip, and the server spoke to a coworker about it in another language while both of them stared at me. Regardless of tipping expectations, that kind of behavior is unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. A better experience overall would go a long way.

This Chinese Buffet is awesome. We had lunch there at 3:30 and they were operating at Maximum Bon Jovi (means operating on all cylinders but Bon Jovi was playing on the radio). From a buffet, easily the best sushi and boneless spareribs I’ve had. The general tso’s chicken, Lo Mein, Dumplings… all of everything they had was great. The only buffet I’ve had in NJ that compares to this one is China Grill Buffet in Hamilton Square, and that’s a tall order !

I went to the buffet on Thursday and it was okay but when my family went to get there food they like this one woman saw my kids and she started talking in her language and then after my lil son went and got some food and she kept on starting at him and looking at his plate of food and every thing go to the buffet she is always like this with my kids and the last time we told the woman up front she said oh she just like that but which is not true because I don’t see that woman looking at other people in the restaurant or talking about them which is very rude that she does that every single time I visits like I am trying to enjoy my food and your not minding your own business the manner needs to fire her to be honest

I have been to a decent amount of buffets here in Jersey. Compared to others the service was very good. The food was ok not the best or worse. The price was fair for what you get.

China Buffet’s been feeding my family for 20+ years haha. I can always expect quality chinese food to fill you up for the day.
Prices go up but its still one of the best bang for your buck.
Recommend to go when they open, get some of the freshes batches of food.
