Good food and the prices are good as well! I would always see La Madeleine restaurants around but never went into one until today. I had a chicken cordon bleu and my wife had a country breakfast. Simple but seasoned nicely and priced accordingly. I love it.

I don’t know if I was starving or this was genuinely the best sandwich I’ve ever had! Planned on saving half for later but it was all gone within minutes, almost shed a tear. Service is fast and prices are reasonable. The interior is very cozy and they have outdoor seating too. The perfect french experience you can get in texas!

I moved away from Houston many years ago and rediscovered La Madeleine on a recent visit with my wife to my hometown. She loved an omelette filled with veggies and I enjoyed a blueberry cheesecake crepe. The coffee was as good as I remember, too, and staff were very nice.

Honestly, the food was decent but the way they seem to make it, they stuffed my sandwich with potatoes and they didn’t use shell eggs as I requested in the order. It seems like they were in a rush to making the food.

I am a big fan of La Madeleine and have been a loyal customer for many years. Unfortunately, my usual location closed a few months ago, so I have been trying alternative branches. This morning was my first visit to this location, and the experience was not as positive as I had hoped.
There were a few issues worth mentioning:
Order accuracy: My wife ordered the American Breakfast and requested avocado as an add-on, which we were charged for, but it did not arrive with the meal. While this is not a major issue—mistakes happen—it is something that should be double-checked.
Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was below expectations. This is a more serious concern, as cleanliness is very important for a dining environment.
Service and atmosphere: The staff appeared unhappy and not very welcoming, which affected the overall experience.
I am sharing this feedback because I truly enjoy La Madeleine and hope this location can improve. These issues seem fixable, and with better attention to cleanliness, order accuracy, and customer interaction, this branch could meet the high standards I associate with the brand.

Overrated, kitschy cafe with unfriendly staff. I have visited France and the French would never prepare crême brulée with that much caramel and sugar. The only part of it that seemed normal was the crusty top. I ate it at 7pm and was not able to sleep until 3am as it messed up my system. The butter croissant was nowhere near what one would acquire in France. The man who stood at the counter examined me as if I was a terrorist. I originally desired to purchase quiche but the only ones sold were vegetarian and bacon quiche. Everyone in the cafe seemed to be snobbish. Persons of colour should not visit.

This is one of the places I really enjoy when I’m in town. I love the chicken salad on croissant, it is absolutely scrumptious. Don’t leave without grabbing dessert: the fruit tart, creme brulee and lemon tart are my faves. Social distancing dine in is available or carryout. This is a great spot for a late breakfast, lunch and dinner. I enjoy dining especially for lunch.
