Mesinos 2 is an excellent spot for gatherings. They offered us a spacious room that worked perfectly for our large party. The service was outstanding, staff were attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was delicious, especially the veal sub, which came in a generous portion. You really get a lot of value for your money here. This place is definitely a must-visit, and we’ll absolutely be back!

So I come to Carlisle for work and finding good eats while traveling is critical. I saw the reviews and wanted to check this spot out myself and Im glad I did. The 2 squares were good, but for only $4.95 that triangle in the top left of the photo is called a ‘foccacia’ & folks it’s basically a ham sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Very good. All of this with a drink was $17. I will be back.

Honestly, we didn’t have any expectations going in. We were blown away by the food! We had the Miseno Special, which was lobster and shrimp over linguine with a blush sauce. It was some of the best seafood pasta I’ve ever had, which was ridiculous considering this place looks more like a pizza shop than fine dining. We’ll be making more frequent trips to Carlisle just to visit this place.

We stopped in after visiting family & were recommended this spot. We started with the sampler. Everyone was happy & no crumbs were left. We had the gnocchi with pesto, it was sooooo freakin good. The pizza was nice and doughy with a slightly crisp bottom. Everything was delicious. We are excited to get home and try the tirmisu.

I like their pizza, but not so much the other menu items I’ve ordered so far because they’re a little under-seasoned. The Buffalo chicken pizza is really good as well as the plain cheese and another I ordered that I don’t remember the name of. The chicken sandwich kinda tastes like it was fried in fish oil but is also good. The tiramisu is kind of cold and flavorless with little to none of the coffee soaked cake. The service, presentation, and the atmosphere is good.

It was very good. The service is quick and friendly. I went in on a very busy Friday night. My waiter was attentive and kind. The pasta was good, but it could’ve used a bit more seasoning. It was missing that ‘kick’ I was looking for.
The portion is a great size, but I felt the bread could’ve been better as well. All in all, I’ll be back. With a little pepper and garlic added, it was fine. And due to their heavy hand, I have seconds for tonight’s dinner!

Amazing!!! Awesome!!! Super!!! You can add as many adjectives as you can. We have been there twice and had different dishes on those occasions. Both the times the food surpassed our expectation.
It is not a fancy place, it is just like an ordinary shop. But what’s served on the table are extra ordinary. Last day we ordered seafood bambino and chicken steak hoagie. Both were super delicious. I can’t say more on how delicious these food were. The right amount of cheese and the right amount of toppings such as shrimp, crab meat and mussels were on the pizza.
And the hoagie was full of chicken and the perfect amount of mayo inside of it. I will definitely recommend my friends to go there and try their food.

Stopped in for a sandwich. Decided on a Tuscany turkey sandwich. The menu said nothing about it being grilled. When I got it it was one big glob. Bacon bits all over, soggy lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Melted cheese all over the place. It was really disgusting.

I’ve lived in Carlisle my entire life, and Misenos has always been a family-owned Italian restaurant I associate with quality, consistency, and care. Since returning from college, one of the first things I looked forward to was ordering the buffalo chicken salad, a dish I’ve enjoyed since elementary school. Unfortunately, what I received today was very different from what it has traditionally been. The portion and preparation fell short of the standard I remember, which was disappointing given how much nostalgia I associate with it. I truly value Misenos and hope this feedback can help restore the quality that longtime customers have come to expect. (There was hardly any chicken and cheese)
