Feels like a throwback in the best way possible. We went here with our kids before taking the train downtown for Disney on Ice. The service was very friendly and the food was above average diner food and very affordable priced! I had a Belgian waffle with fresh fruit, that was well made and tasted great. My wife had an egg croissant sandwich, which she loved, and my daughter had the M* mouse pancakes, which were also great. The only critique was they didn’t have fresh OJ, just bottled. We’ll definitely be back next time we take the train downtown.

In past fries came with turkey burger. Today I door dash a turkey burger and only got the sandwich. $14.50 is ridiculous for just a sandwich. I will not be ordering this frozen patty again for $14.50 since they change their policy to rip people off.

Great food, good service, okay atmosphere. It’s a nice “hole-in-the-wall” diner in Shaker Square that could be easily missable if you’re just driving past. Situated on the side of railroad tracks, I can imagine it’s a nice stop for a quick bite to eat for railroad passengers. The space is pretty small, and the ventilation didn’t seem all that great; the restaurant fairly quickly filled up with hot air as they cooked. I got the ribeye steak and eggs, with a side of French toast as well. The steak was a little thin and plain, but otherwise I have no complaints about the rest of the meal. If you’re passing through the area, looking for some quick diner-style breakfast, I can definitely recommend this place!

There are two slightly larger booths in the back better for seating four rather than the two or three that can be seated up front. Food was amazing, hot, fresh, reasonably priced, great portions. Service was top notch! We will be back!

My kids and I visited here for breakfast after reading many good reviews and because it was just minutes from our AirBnB. I love a good little diner, and this one fit the bill. Michael’s is very small and cozy, and being located right along the tracks gives it unique view out the windows. I could tell there are many regulars, as the lady at the register knew many people by name and/or order. My kids and I all really enjoyed our food, although our waitress forgot to write down an item when taking our order and she never came back by our table until we were all done eating, so I was unable to get it added on. Overall, though, it was a good, no frills little spot for a quick bite to eat and for cheap!

We’re so lucky to have Michael’s Diner within walking distance from our house. And, they serve liver and onions and a mean meatloaf!!☺️ ❣️

This is an adorable spot right off Shaker Square. The pricing is subject to change so don’t get caught off guard by any changes.

Good food & service..
No restrooms and half the seatings blocked off… but was excellent.
Right in with the Shaker Square RTA rapid stop (blue/green lines)

The food here was not good at all. I ordered the double deuce and I regret it to the point of writing a review. The potatoes are absolutely disgusting. They literally have no seasoning. Not salt or pepper. They are dry and not even ketchup can make them taste better. The pancakes tasted like rubber even after syrup. My scramble eggs were one big piece. I can’t believe a place like this is still in business. This was my first meal of the day and I rather starve than eat this nasty a** food again. My 8mo old baby can cook better than this!!! I’m so serious!!!
