Great food as always. I got the quesadilla hecho a mano which is offered Saturday and Sunday until 2 or 3. I had horchata colada. They use liqueur which it tast a little strong and sweet but it was good. Mango margarita was very refreshing. A little overpriced.
Overall good service. Staff always making sure you’re satisfied

Came here for Father’s Day and I had a great time!
The food was great and the atmosphere was great as well. They had the Dodger game on so that was a plus! I will add, if it’s busy your food might take a while to come but at least it will be hot and freshly made. Will definitely come back again

We ordered soup to go. The rice was good but sadly the cocido just didn’t hit. The beef was tough and fatty. It just didn’t smell or taste like a good bowl of soup. I wish them well.

Food quality has gone down a bit, the table I was sat at was hella dirty I had to ask to clean it. The promo sign on the table was unsanitary old and filthy. Unsure why prices are higher when quality has gone down. Service is pretty good they do take care of customers.

My wife and I were invited to have lunch at Hecho En Mexico by our two friends at this well know area in El Sereno a suburb of L.A. We have been here before for a fun riser at Hecho En Mexico couple years ago. We never haven’t eat at the restaurant before our friend told us the food is really good.
When we arrived at the restaurant it was almost packed with people but the waiter found us a table just for the four of us. The atmosphere of the restaurant is live with people celebrating company partys and other occasions. The waite brought us chips and salsa and he ask us our drink order.
Then the waiter can back to get our order I order the two chili renello plate and my wife order the taco and chili renello plate. Our friends order different items. First the food is incredible good I enjoy the chili renello they awesome they were very cheesy that I really like and rice and bea.s great flavors from both sides.
Overall we enjoy the meal and we give a satisfaction to the cooks for great meals and staff were friendly and helpful. Next time we need to come to Happy Hour on thev weekdays.

Not good. I ordered habanero wings and the chef took it upon himself to change it to buffalo sauce without asking me- assuming I’d like it. Next- my friend ordered a chile relleno. The Chile relleno was small, it had tomato sauce with little to no cheese in it. My friend returned it and the chef was upset had the poor waitress tell us that we had to take it back or order another one. I told the waitress no and I’d be happy to speak to him. Food isn’t great here. The aesthetics are cute but that’s it. Service is ok.

I came here about a month ago with a very large group (maybe 15) and had a very bad experience. The main problem was how long we waited for our food. But also, some people in our party got their food and finished it way before others ever received theirs. I ordered fajitas and told the waitress I didn’t want beans, and she asked if I wanted more rice or if I wanted fries instead? I said I’ll take fries. My food finally came probably about an hour later and I asked where the salad was (the lettuce, tomato, and guac that usually comes with fajitas for a topping) and she said i only get 2 sides and I chose rice and fries. Okay, even though the person sitting next to me also got fajitas, 2 sides, and a salad (which i took a picture of). Then, I finished my food and the fries finally came out all the way at the end. The waitress apologized for how long it took and said she was going to try to get a discount for how long everything took and for everything coming out at such drastic different times. She comes back and tells us she wouldn’t charge the automatic 20% gratuity or whatever it was. Seems like an odd thing to do but whatever, because the service wasn’t very good anyway. And all to find out we were charged for the fries anyway even though she said my meal included the 2 sides. Also the torta didn’t come with any cheese on it and when we asked about it she said yes it should have cheese, and brought a plate of cheese (and also charged for that ). It was missing something else too, i just cant remember what. so it was a build your own torta. Wouldn’t go back.

I’ve driven past this little Mexican spot countless times, and I’m honestly kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. What a hidden gem! First off, it’s an awesome place to catch a Dodgers game they’ve got multiple TVs set up, and the crowd is full of fellow Dodger fans, which makes for an energetic but comfortable vibe. The place isn’t packed or cramped either plenty of room to move around, relax, and actually enjoy your food and drink without feeling squeezed in.
Speaking of food it was awesome. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in their dishes. The happy hour was the icing on the cake: margarita pitchers for just $35, and each one easily made about six strong, tasty margaritas. Definitely a great deal.
Service-wise, it wasn’t perfect, but it’s understandable there was only one server working when we arrived. Even so, he hustled and did his best to take care of everyone with a good attitude. You could tell he was doing everything he could to keep things moving smoothly.
All in all, this spot has great energy, great food, and an authentic local feel. If you’re looking for a chill spot to grab Mexican food, enjoy a margarita, and watch the Dodgers game with good people, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll for sure be coming back.
Also we were a party of 9.
