An Evansville icon. Great Mexican food. We went to the original downtown, but all three locations serve the same great food. They are known for their margaritas. Try the flight if you can’t make up your mind about which flavor to have. If you are not big on tequila, then get a Blue Parrot. Just be careful. They are so tasty and easy to drink that you could quickly need to call an Uber to get home. The food is great and the portions are large, if there was one minor issue, the hottest salsa should be classified as medium, but this is Southern Indiana so I can’t expect Serrano’s or Hatch levels of spicy. Don’t let that dissuade you from the wet burrito or the fry-yi-yi’s which have jalapeños slices on them. Make the trip and enjoy.

Went here an hr before closing , was looking for frozen margaritas, that sadly most bars in Evansville don’t have. Service, drinks and food were amazing. Music was also excellent.

Very nice food. The orange margarita was great. The salsa verde was excellent and the service made it even better. Mandy the server and Dan the manager were both on top of everything

My first time here, being from Texas I needed some Mexican food. My first time here and today was the 1st day of ” my ghost ex Gf ” taco. It was very good and the sauce had a mild kick. Make sure to put some of the side Pico de Gallo on it for extra kick. By the time I got to my main course 2 crispy tacos.. they were soggy from the cheese and meat. Disappointed to say the least. Overall I’ll give a 4 star for the Ghost Taco.. keep that as a regular.

A nice place to dine in and have some Mexican food. The waiter was friendly and quick to bring out the food and drinks. The chimichanga was cooked perfectly. The guacamole tasted good but the salsa was just glorified tomato paste… though it still did taste pretty good.

Mel is the bartender extraordinaire. When she’s working she keeps the atmosphere going. She’s great, funny, remembers the orders of regulars. If she is your server she never let’s anything leave the kitchen that isn’t correct.
