Huey’s has been bringing Blues, Brews, & Burgers in Memphis since 1970. Perhaps the most unique characteristics of our locations are the graffiti walls, hometown feel and local live music. Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey’s are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey’s former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to have donated many hours, monetary support and services for countless community organizations, schools, and nonprofits over the years.

This place was excellent! I had the Smashburgers and onion straws! Delish, the rest of the fam had burgers as well !!!!!! Recommended from a Memphis friend, so had to try while in town for soccer! Everything was really great. My only confusion is that my son got a kid’s meal with a root beer and we were charged additional for the root beer. I didn’t notice it until I got home. I thought the kids all came with a drink. I thought the only difference between the fountain drinks and a root beer is the fact that you cannot get a refill. I will wish we would’ve been told that.

Somehow they messed up 2 of our 3 dishes. I paid for chicken on my Thai Salad and got none at all. Also asked for no bacon due to an allergy but that was missed too. Had to throw those out. Very disappointed as I paid nearly $40.00 and didn’t even eat either of those dishes.

We ordered the nachos to start. They were good but needed more of the toppings. We then ordered the smash burger with fries and the Huey’s world famous burger, which were both delicious. Our server was wonderful. Will definitely be going again.

Mediocre food at best with a side of seemingly shady business ethics. I’m not sure why their proposed tip percentages are inflated. Perhaps there is a valid excuse for it, but make sure to double check your check! I think I’m done with Huey’s, at least until they get it together.

We went to Huey’s for lunch. Ordered the smash burger (amazing), the onion rings (best we’ve ever had, and the cheesy fries (also great). Atmosphere was easy going and light. Service was absolutely top notch. Abby was super friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of things. She even helped us with some suggestions around the area since we just moved to TN a couple years ago. Thanks Abby!

One of the only places open on Christmas eve and very busy. But we’re seated by very nice hostess almost immediately. Busy night , and service was somewhat slow which was not unexpected. Our order was initially lost in the shuffle but eventually arrived and very good. Reuben and onion rings and burgers excellent. Addison our server excellent and the very nice manager was very kind and apologetic for delay and comped our appetizer…much appreciated. Great food and caring staff.

Our server, Abby, was excellent! Very attentive. We never needed anything because she had already taken care of it! Every person that worked there was very friendly and on top of everything! Food was amazing! Just wish they would sell bottles of that Italian vinaigrette salad dressing!

8/31/2025- This was my second visit to this location and as a transplant from another state, I wanted to give it another chance. This time I had frequented alone. Due to this I was able to pay more attention to the surroundings which were fun and sentimental to the story of Huey’s described on the back of the menu. However I couldnt help but think if their walls and ceilings were as dirty as they were, what’s the kitchen look like?
I was craving a burger and I got the Bluffs Burger. It was decent but didn’t satisfy my craving. Though I’d still recommend this establishment to anyone. It’s not my jive. As I watched patrons barrel in, dressed either in casual jeans or families in Sunday best, the crowd this attracts are those who like consistent traditions and the way restaurants used to be. The mom and pop spot, simple food but you know what you’re getting everytime.

Great pub atmosphere. I had the World Famous Huey Burger and a cup of chili. Both were very good. I’d rate the chili spiciness as 1 out of five. It’s very flavorful, but doesn’t make my mouth sting. The burger was thick and moist. I’ll definitely be back here the next time I’m visiting the area .
