Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I can’t stand it when this happens.
I got here slightly before 4pm. Obviously it’s the shift change time. I waited in the drive through for approximately 10min. When I finally got my NOT HOT AND FRESH MEAL $12.25 I was unhappy.
I stopped on Monday for the exact same order which was delicious – hot and a full portion of onion rings unlike today’s cool ones. My double jr green chile burger was tasty but just warm not hot. I didn’t get a single napkin with my order either. Dam it. I hate that too.
I’ll probably give it another chance because I really love the burger but it’s Whataburger’s last chance or we’ll be done forever just like I’ve done with Wendy’s. Never again Wendy’s were through forever.
I really hoped that Whataburger was going to be my new burger choice.
I only gave two stars instead of one because my first drive thru girl was so nice.

The staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean and newer looking. The food however… the burger was falling apart, the cheese was half off the burger. I had to reassemble the burger before I could eat it. The bun and patties tasted old and the patties were room temp. Another typical fast food place where prices have doubled and quality has been cut in half.

Employees were great! Food was good. Took it home, a 45 minute drive. My fish sandwich was a little soggy, but that was all. It is best to eat fried food fast. My husband ordered a double bacon burger & really enjoyed it.

Absolutely wonderful service counter employee. Was very helpful and explained what a whatafresher was because we didn’t know. And we even got an off the menu item which is the family box of French fries. Definitely recommend stopping in here if you’re in the area! Oh and great food too. Seyvon was a great help!!

Not very impressed. 1st time at Whataburger and it does not come close to comparing to 5 Guys or In-N-Out. Fries were excellent. Homemade ketchup very good. Burger was a huge disappointment. Bun very unappealing. Charged $1.20 for cheese on double burger. No grilled onions, no lettuce or special sauce on burger. My partner did like her spicy chicken sandwich and onion rings. She would go back for them, but I am not returning for a burger 🙁

Drive thru line moved quickly. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately we recieved someone else’s order so had to drive back to the restaurant to get the order corrected. We ordered two combos, one large fry, and an additional drink; it was over $35. What we recieved was something completely different from our order. It’s quite likely someone else drove off with our order and were disappointed that their order was completely wrong, too. Definitely not the greatest experience

This is a brand new Restaurant in the city of Surprise, Arizona off of Waddell and the 303 freeway. Going inside was immaculate and brand new as to be expected. I visited during lunchtime and they were very busy. My cheeseburger came out hot as did my french fries. The food was tasty and I encourage anybody who likes hamburgers or cheeseburgers to stop by. They also sell salads and chicken sticks.

We went through the drive-thru to grab a quick bite to take home and when we got home we were missing a whole half part of our order. Unfortunately, I’m sure much of the rest of the world has experience. We don’t live nearby. This was a quick stop so to have to go all the way back just to pick up half the order was probably more in gas. I did make it back to the store with the receipt and they made everything right and we’re extremely pleasant and apologetic about the incident. Would recommend just for customer service and the extra mile they go.
