A outstanding place off the beaten path for a homemade hardy breakfast…our waitress was fantastic and great sense of humor, extremely attentive…top notch service…I had vegetable omelet with amazing homemade home fries cooked perfectly…with wheat toast and avocado! My Dad had eggs benedict with ham and home fries:)
Everything was so good! Really enjoyed this country setting and high quality service and high quality foods! Highly recommend:)

This is an out of the way Gem. We’ll, out of the way for us. Off the beaten path. There seems to be more to the property than just the restaurant. A driving range and museum or antique shop. The venue choices are plentiful, the decisions are not so easy. I had steak medallions and eggs with home fries and sourdough toast. Pleny or food for two meals. The Mrs. had Maple Cinnamon French Toast. Choices abound from toast to an extra egg. Service was stellar. The food came from the kitchen as ordered and timely. You get all this in an old farmhouse style building. And at a very reasonable expense. If you’re ever in NE CT and want breakfast, do yourself a favor and find this fine establishment.

Fantastic food! The pancakes here are about the size of your face, I mean they’re huge! Heavenly eaten here a few times but everything we’ve gotten has always been good. They have a pretty large selection of all kinds of Benedict’s and other breakfast goodies. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is always great! Because of all of these things the real only downfall to the place is the wait. If you’re lucky you can get in right away, we went on a Sunday morning and had almost an 1.5hr wait. They do have a number of things for you to do while your weight, first there is a driving range and even if you didn’t bring any clubs they have some old used ones you can grab to hit with. My daughter and I got a bucket of the balls and tried to chip into the 50 yard net. They also have a room with some games and puzzles. If you’re looking for a good place for breakfast just plan accordingly make sure to get there early and you won’t be disappointed.

My first visit to this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. It was very busy for a Wednesday morning and I can see why. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere reminded me of a grandmother’s kitchen. Little antique planters and plants everywhere. They were playing oldies music (I’m talking 50s) but not too loud. The tables overlook the driving range. Pretty country setting. The breakfast was by far the best I’ve ever had. My eggs were cooked perfectly. This is important to me because I always ask that my yolks are runny but not the white. I hardly ever get it that way at most restaurants. The home fries were sliced thin and nice and crispy with caramelized onions (added by request). The sausage links were huge (just like the menu said they were). I would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant. I’ll be back!

Stopped in at 1:15 pm, they close at 2 but stop seating at 1:30. There were others finishing their meals and coffees. I was seated right away, my food was brought to me quickly and nice and hot, the order was correct and the extra “baby” pancake was the size of a dinner plate. They had real maple syrup for my pancake for an additional charge which I really appreciated. Decor was from the 1960s, as was the music that was playing and it all kind of worked well!
On my next trip back from Logan airport I’ll stop in again!

We really wanted to try this as a new breakfast spot. first the host was unhappy we had a baby in a carrier, even though we offered to share our seat with our baby and put the carrier under the table. then we waited over 55 minutes(was told 20 min wait) they completely forgot us. No one ever called for us, we ended up going to two dogs cafe. Can’t speak for the food, but it was a disappointing visit for us.

Great country style restaurant. Nice little antique shop to browse as well. Overall great place to grab some breakfast! It is sometimes crowded though so there may be a wait.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the food and drink. The atmosphere. The adorable porch w puzzles and games to the neatest antique shop upstairs. I’d eat here every day if I could. The nicest waitresses. Cooks and owners. If you’re looking for a top notch picture perfect restaurant situated on a driving range. You definitely need to come to Brooklyn Countryview restaurant. Tell them Deb sent you ❤️
