Hands down the worst experience of my weekend. No bbq sauce, ice machine is broken, run by a bunch of teenagers with no oversight. They screwed up ever order we saw served. Myself and all the others had to come back and get the utensils to eat because they weren’t put in the bags. The food was burnt to a crisp, all they had was spicy chicken, and the pop corn shrimp popped loooooong before being served. Did I mention that the card reader was broken? Or that the place didn’t look like it had been cleaned all week.

Terrible experience. Arrived at 8:30pm (they close at 11pm). They were out of all sandwiches and boneless wings so the only options were bone in chicken, shrimp, or tenders. Out of ranch, sweet heat, and coleslaw. Tenders were not fresh and were small. All chairs in dinning room were on tables, trash cans were covered, and bathrooms were closed. Will not be back to this location.

Waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged by some very rude employees who were clearly too high to be putting a tenders box together. After spending 20 minutes to be acknowledged after placing our order at the counter and finally be able to pay they very rudely threw together my food and couldn’t be bothered to make sure it was correct. First time eating at Popeye’s. The chicken sandwich wasn’t anything close to the sandwich’s season I’ve seen on tv. The chicken pattie was small and so thin on one side you couldn’t see it without taking the top greasy bun off. This may not be their typical chicken sandwich so I will get one some day at a different place. If the next one is like this, I won’t be a Popeye customer.

I have been to many Popeye’s and they are always a hit and miss when it comes to food quality…But NOT this one, today (6/16/25) everything was on point. The chicken was tender, juicy and full of flavor, the biscuit wasn’t dry and the rice & beans were just right (not salty but not bland either).
The staff were friendly and polite. The place was clean and my order was completed fast. It was refreshing to see one of their establishments doing things right for once! Keep doing what you do!!

We ordered on the app, that was easy. Plus we got a free sandwich for signing up. Everything was good and fresh. The employee who called my name when our order was ready was quite pleasant. We have traveled around the south and this chain can be more misses than hits. I’ll say that this location is above most. Our go-to spot next time heading south, or north, on I-75. Easy on/off. Adjoined to the gas station, so we filled up the tank in one easy stop.
