I always have an amazing time at Monty’s the vibe is perfect, the staff is kind and enjoyable. I find the space welcoming and chill, especially on a hot summer day. They’re very dog welcoming and the customers are on similar vibes. CHILL.
The food is great, and an underrated LA Classic. I enjoy the chicken sandwich and the 50/50 totts and fries with ranch is killer. The shake with orange soda is a sleeper and would highly recommend.

Let me start by saying this review was written thinking it was real meat haha.
Burger tasted great, veggies were very fresh and a nice crispy texture. My only issue is I felt the burger was cooked a little too long, like it had an overdone char on it. Still was great just was a oh man this was super close to being even better just that slightly off taste.
Well not till I finished eating did I realize it was a vegan burger. What a shock was that, I was like wait really??? So comparing to a meat burger I do think a 4/5 is very high score to give. Honestly had me fouled.
The interior is awesome!

Three of us were passing through LA looking for some great vegan food, and we found it at Monty’s. We loved how Monty’s figured out how to get a good char on the Impossible burgers…so good! The chicken tenders were great. We had the 50/50 tots and fries, but I would go 100% tots next time! The shakes were fantastic. Some may find the small shakes quite small, but we found it to be the ideal way to indulge without over doing it. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we truly enjoyed our visit to the iconic Monty’s. PS: it’s always nice when the simple act of eating also supports a great cause—thanks Monty’s!

It was good however based on the hype i was expecting a lot better. I don’t want to dog on the burger “meat” but I’ve had so many other vegan places where you won’t have that specific taste. Just feel like super cheap options compare to others. But besides the meat having that weird taste it was a well made vegan burger. A in n out “clone”. The tenders were pretty good too. A little over priced though for not including fries.

Monty’s Good Burger is an LA staple for the vegan community. They have feel-good vegan fast food that always hits the spot. From chicken sandwiches, to tater tot’s and fries, to a good old fashioned burger, they have a variety of options that are both quick and delicious. This time around my partner and I each got one of their vegan shakes. My favorite is the coffee shake and my partner really wanted the shamrock shake, which both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend Monty’s to anyone vegan or not!

Monty’s Good Burger clearly wins the award for the cutest mascot. Little Monty is their pup that adorns featured on all their marketing, and he welcomes you inside.
But fear not, because the food is stellar and Monty and the team have created a wonderful, filling vegan based menu of American classics. I tried their double cheeseburger. It was flavorful and filling, and every ingredient was fresh or cooked perfectly.
They have tots and fries on their menu and an option to sample both. I had both because it aounded fun. I forgot to check what they used for fry oil, but it had a light, crisp flavor to it and was a great side to the meal.
I was very tempted to get one of their milkshakes, but since I’m avoiding sugar, I passed on that.
I’m in the area often and knew where to street park close by. I don’t recall seeing a parking lot, but I may be wrong. They also have a number of locations throughout LA. They are a great spot to enjoy a plant based meal so check them out!

I’ve been here twice and had two different experiences. The food is very pricey and can easily cost $80 for two people. The vegan burgers taste like regular burgers but what takes away from them is the amount of sauce they put on them. If you let the burgers sit for too long they will be soggy. I will say that they have very delicious milkshakes but $8-10 for a kids sized cup? They have some work to do but this is a nice place to come to maybe once a year if you’re just looking for any kind of burger.

Ordered gluten free “chicken tenders” and two mini shakes. The chicken tenders had great texture and crunch. The mini shakes were great esp considering vegan, but a bit too sweet- thankful we didn’t get the regular size. Took off a star due to the price.
