Not what it used to be. Flavor was not good, staff paid no attention to me. Took my order, brought drink & food & I never saw them again. It wasn’t busy. It was the Monday before Thanksgiving.
1 year ago – Probably the most flavorful asian cuisine we have had in a long time.
Service was exceptional, Sidney the Manager stopped to chat.
Sidneys personal touch and upbeat spirit made a great meal even better.
Our dishes were Ayam Noodles with chicken, Massaman curry, and Crispy Chicken which was Delicious.
The fried rice taste was a perfect balance.
Keep up the Great work.
We will come back.

I ordered Tom Yum soup to go from Tai Foon, and I was extremely disappointed. When I got home and opened it, it was basically water mixed with a huge amount of onions. There were only 2 pieces of tofu and 2 small pieces of mushroom inside—nothing like a real Tom Yum. It wasn’t spicy, had no flavor, and honestly had no taste at all.
When I eat there, the Tom Yum is completely different and actually flavorful. It’s frustrating that the to-go version is so disappointing and not the same as what they serve in the restaurant. Very disappointing and not worth the money.

I recently visited Thai Phoon Restaurant, and unfortunately it was a big disappointment.
This place used to be good years ago, which is why I came back. The presentation of the Pad Thai was nice and the ingredients seemed fine, but the flavor was completely off. There was no cilantro, barely any green onions, and the sauce was overly sweet. It didn’t taste like traditional Pad Thai at all and lacked the balance and depth you expect.
On top of that, the window clearly lists bubble teas, but when I went inside I was told they don’t have any. That was a huge disappointment and felt misleading. If something is advertised, it should actually be available.
Overall, the experience just wasn’t good. Based on this visit, it’s one and done for me.

I wax in the mood for some Asian cuisine and came across this place. Delicious! Service was courteous and friendly. Very attentive. Lauren W. even gave recs as I told her that this was my first time here. Both she and the young man with locs were extremely sweet and attentive. I had the Crab Rangoon as an app. They were good! I really enjoyed the thinner wonton wrapper and lighter stuffing. They weren’t stingy with the crab. You didn’t bite into it and just get a mouthful of cream cheese. I also got the crispy chicken and fried rice. Oh my goodness, it really hit the spot! Idk how they keep the chicken crunchy under all that sauce but, they did. I got a spice level 3 but could’ve gone up a notch or two. If you really like spice, get a 5. The sauce was similar to general tso’s but still very good. The fried rice was proper with scallions, egg and a great flavor. I will def be back. Karyn

Staff here is very friendly and down to earth. Our server was especially sweet, helpful, personable and eager to please.
Their was a miscommunication between the kitchen and wait staff which resulted in us receiving the wrong food the first time. I wasn’t bothered by this at all but the server and manager stopped over with sincere apologies making it right.
The food was decent tasting coming out in super large portions. You’ll definitely need a take out box here. Overall good dining experience.

I started to give them 3 stars but I choose four stars because the service was really good and it was a nice atmosphere. Now as for the food I got the General tso shrimp and it was pretty tasty. I also got the vegetable spring roll one of the worse I have ever got , it tasted like the store frozen ones but worse, like it was old or something . Also the thai tea was not tasty at all and was watered down

This was definitely not the best experience. After getting to our booth we asked which bubble teas were available but instead of telling us flavors she just flipped around her tiny iPad thing and showed us the small screen. After squinting at the screen I decided to order Thai Iced tea, but she was like no we dont have any but it was on the screen? How am I supposed to know how to read your ordering system, that’s your job. Oh and also no inclusions so no bubble for the $5 bubble tea. Anyway, I ordered a black tea Matcha (yes I know Matcha is green tea but that’s what she said).
She gave us exactly 0.1 minutes to look at the menu after that before returning to ask for our order. We again tried to place and order only to be told half the soups were unavailable (only after trying to order each one).
We decided to start ordering by asking what they did have. When we finally got our food, the soup was water with pepper in it. We poured chili oil into it but it still didnt taste all that good. The Pad Sew Ew was spelled weird. I wondered why they didnt ask for spice levels and it turns out it was because there was no need. There was no spice.
The staff were not well trained; didnt know the menu, were not helpful in informing of items they were out of…the food was also disappointing. Will not be returning.

Food was fantastic, even my picky kids loved it. Noodle dishes had a lot of vegetables, not overcooked. Service was also great. We went for late lunch, so it was not busy, but our server was very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back.

The food is very good. Prices continue to go up while the restaurant itself seems to have become more about take out and less focused on in store aesthetics. It just looked a little more fancy the last time I was there.

A personal favorite for take-out, this cultural restaurant has had alot of trouble with ICE and has reopened! Its dishes have changed a slight bit, and the environment inside is still lacking, but its still a good place to stop by. The pad thai is worth the time, along with the Hawaiian fried rice!
