We were making a trip for internment of my parents at the National Cemetery. Wonderful staff and service. Food was great. The La Mex omelette was very good. The Reuben was great. My daughter said the eggs had a slight off taste. Overall wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back when we visit again. Located on the 1st floor, easily visible and on the end of the mall, and a drive-thru (for takeout) is available.

This place has a little bit of everything food wise. They didn’t disappoint with the portions either. The only thing I didn’t care for was the coleslaw but it was still fresh and worth a try if you like coleslaw.

My first time here. Food was 10/10 perfect. Cooked just right, very fresh and tasty. The environment and atmosphere were superb, hospitality, warm, and welcoming. The fish tank was well maintained and I enjoyed watching all the fish swim around. The portions were huge and everything was very high quality, especially the toast I noticed. I will certainly be back again as rhetorical lunch and dinner menu (also breakfast) are vast. The pricing is higher, but it’s well worth it and fine since the overall experience is what I’ve delved for. Wish I did receive more salsa for my skillet though. So happy I came here!! I loved every bit of the experience! We were very pleasantly greeted too, everyone was happy and eager to make us feel like valued customers! 🙂

Family from Indiana and Florida visited our beloved Veteran Grandpa at Abraham Lincoln National cemetery. We had decided to try the Silver Dollar for the first time and were pleasantly surprised on how great it was. First off, our waitress Debbie was so wonderful, she was welcoming, friendly, funny, and very eager to make it a great experience. The atmosphere was clean, music was a little too loud especially for elderly or most of us who have hearing loss, but we asked and she had someone turn the volume of music down a bit. Food was all very good with large portions. We all loved the BLT spinach soup. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great spot for a meal in Elwood, IL. We go here often after visiting my Mom at Abe Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Wide range of food options and you get a bowl of soup and a basket of rolls with any meal. Pepsi products. Nice service here.

We decided at a last minute to have a after funeral dinner here and it was very wonderful. The staff was very accommodating very pleasant very helpful willing to do whatever we needed. I will have to come back here sometime in the near future to have some of their pancakes I hear they’re very yummy. Thank you staff at silver Dollar for everything you did today.

Very kind and friendly staff. This alone is a reason to dine here, support kind people with your business. Food was great, none I. Our party had complaints about their order. Kids love the fish tank and this time was a bit dirty.

Seated immediately, server approached within 1 minute. Orders were taken. 5 minutes later our food was on the table.
Omelets were done perfectly. No burnt edges, no charred ends. The veggies and meats were pretty tasty and fresh.
Definitely would recommend.
