arted as little fresh fish shop in downtown Amman 1990 ,the founder (Moh’d Nazeer) Abu Ghazaleh ,rented that small 4m*4m shop and shipped fresh fish from Saudi Arabia and Yemen …started deep frying and broiling fish and started a new craft in this little town . During the nineties that little shop earned a nice reputation ….and a lot of Ammanies ran to that little place when they craved a simple homemade fish meal in a cold gloomy winter day or during a happy summer night. As every little thing in this town we have grown day by day with the simplest additions, keeping it a small cozy family business, majoring in dentistry or engineering never detached us from our little diner.

Place is old, but seafood quality is very good.
Avoid rice and fries. The rest of sea food all good.

We had lunch at this local seafood restaurant. It is in the middle of the downtown so it isn’t fancy. Food was good and so was the service. The restaurant has three seating floors with minimal decoration, but with nice views of the downtown area.

The place didn’t feel comfortable—not because it’s old, since many older spots can be charming—but this one just gave off an unclean vibe, even if it wasn’t actually dirty. The food was disappointing; for example, the fries tasted like they had been re-fried multiple times and were overly greasy. Overall, the flavors lacked even the most basic quality standards. I couldn’t enjoy my meal while constantly questioning the cleanliness of the place and imagining what the kitchen must be like.
The staff were polite and professional—I have no complaints about their attitude.
That said, this was definitely my first and last visit. I really hope the owners consider renovating and raising their standards, especially since the prices are high enough to justify a better dining experience.

So tasty and variety of flavors. Everything was clean but better to renew the toilets and sinks section. The service was slow but for the delicious food i would go again and recommend it.

This is one of the iconic seafood restaurant in Amman. They offer a good selection of salads, local dishes and they recently introduced Sushi, which is okay for being not freshly made. Nothing special though.
Saiadieh and creamy soup are great though and worth trying out. Their atmosphere is great and so Ammany as its located in the heart of downtown with a charming balcony looking at Hashim restaurant.
If you craving seafood then might be a good option for you.
Unfortunately, this is not an accessible place to dine, there is an elevator but still you have to take 4 steps to get up there.

I highly recommend this place. The seafood was fresh and the service was great! The shrimp is so delicious both fried and grilled. The Denise fish comes grilled with peppers and tomatoes. They said they get their fish daily. Will definitely return.

I love that they need extra time to prepare the food. This means it is fresh and prepared when you order it. The food was delicious, and flavorful! I also loved the presentation of the food. They took time and care to present it and it was beautiful

One of the shrimps was rotten dead before even serving… The stench was horrible… I told them about it, when the bill came they deducted 5 JDs only… Which is the cost of almost one shrimp in comparison to a serious health hazard… this is disgraceful for such a famous restaurant… They should learn more about customer service! I am never coming back!
