My family wanted to try something new, so we decided to check out this Japanese steakhouse. What really stands out here is the experience—everything is cooked right in front of you, and you can choose from a variety of options like beef, chicken, or seafood. If you’re celebrating a birthday, you also get a free meal, though it’s limited to certain meat options.
Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and our chef made it fun and entertaining to watch. As for the food itself, including the fried rice and meats, it was a bit on the blander side. That’s understandable since they don’t want to over-season anything, but I was hoping for just a little more flavor. Plenty of parking. Service was attentive.

I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is wonderful. The food is excellent and you can sit in the hibachi area if you choose to eat hibachi type of food and watch it made. It’s a fun experience for the whole family, young children included. The sashimi is always fresh and the pieces are a good size thick and delicious. Kirby is the award winning, nationally known, sashimi chef. The hibachi food is plentiful and made exactly as you desire. Dessy and Steven are both really nice people and attentive to the guests. Dessy is my favorite service girl and Steven is just great at making you comfortable no matter how hard your day has been. The prices are great considering all that goes into the food and the amount your given. Prices are fair and worth every penny. Tina and Max (who owns Zesty’s on Bridgeport) are wonderful and very invested in making any trip to Sapporo or Zesty’s worth the trip.

Definitely super good experience! Hibachi is so fun our chef was hilarious and kept us entertained! Food was good, could use a lirtle more seasoning. Only complaint is how long the server took to check us out.

Ordered the chicken and steak off Uber Eats. The main dish was steak & chicken. But instead was given double chicken. Reported to uber and they only refunded $2 when the price difference is major. Not particularly happy.

Sunday lunch for us will always be spent at Sapporo. The menu is broad with something for every appetite – but we are partial to the sushi. The best in town, yes, but beyond that – best sushi we’ve had in our lives! Jupe and Kirby are sushi artists of the highest caliber! Every Sunday offer us an opportunity to try something new – and never disappoints! We are especially thankful for Martha, whose friendliness and recommendations always makes the experience even better. We are just finishing up today’s meal and already looking forward to next Sunday and seeing Dini and the whole staffs’ smiling faces and welcoming, warm spirits.

We had 3 different sushi rolls that you could tell were made by a sushi chef that has perfected his craft, they were so delicious, and the presentation was great as well. We started off with 2 appetizers, fried calamari and chicken gyoza, that were very good and way above average when it comes to Japanese Cuisine!
From the first few steps when we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with smiles from employees ready to help make our experience top notch. Our server was very good and had a great balance in between checking in too much or not enough. Overall Great Restaurant with Delicious Eats and Wonderful Staff!
