Vibes = awful
Food = inedible and raw
Takeaway = don’t go here
I’d been excited to try this spot for a long time – had it saved on my map because of all the good reviews and their gluten free offerings. Immediately on walking in, the vibe was not good. Weird smell, total silence and super bright lights like a hospital.
I ordered my food at the kiosk. Double burger (without fries – they’re are not gluten free here) and a soda costs $20. They only had expensive proprietary drinks, no regular soda brands.
After waiting a while, the guy working there yelled to me to ask what I’d ordered. Guess the Kiosk doesn’t work. They were also sold out of the soda that I paid for.
I got my burger, and was so hungry I took a few bites before realizing it was completely and totally RAW. Not cooked. I hadn’t noticed at first because it was such a slimy mess. I threw it away immediately and walked down the block to Shake Shack for a proper burger.
The other review saying this place paid for 5 star reviews with free soda makes perfect sense. Don’t go here, especially for my GF friends out there.
Got delivery via grubhub with my friend on a freezing Friday night. We got the classic burger, spicy nugget combo with fries, and gluten free veggie chopped cheese. The quality of the chicken was good and it definitely had a kick! Fries were also good. The taste of the burger had a big mac feel to it and totally hit the spot. Would totally get again!
The menu has a great variety, so there’s something for everyone, and everything we ordered came out fresh and hot. The sides were just as good as the burgers, and the portions were generous. It’s clear they take pride in what they serve.
If you’re looking for a spot with amazing burgers, great service, and a fun vibe, Holy Burger is definitely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon! ✨
I only went because of those high reviews, but here’s the truth: when you pick up your food, they literally offer you a free Coke if you leave a 5-star review. That’s how they’re inflating their ratings.
I still gave the 5 stars at first, but once I got home and tasted the food… wow. Completely inedible. I honestly couldn’t believe I had just spent nearly $50 on something this bad.
It’s one of those meals you regret instantly — bland, greasy, and just wrong.
I wouldn’t feed this to anyone.
They’re basically buying fake reviews with soda. Avoid this place at all costs. Save your money, your time, and your stomach.
i ordered one of the onion double smash burgers and a side of onion rings. boom boom sauce was great, onion rings were great. however when i pulled out the burger it was just so sopping with grease that the parchment paper felt melded into the burger. several times i bit into the burger and got full chunks of parchment paper as an inside layer, not just me biting into the outside w/o realizing. and then eventually a MASSIVE chunk of the actual burger just soaked through the paper with grease and fell out. maybe i need to come earlier in the evening for better craftsmanship?
flavor-wise, again the onion rings were fab and what i was able to have of the burger was delicious. just wish i had something slightly better built that wouldn’t consist of mostly paper.
I really appreciate how many plant-based options they offer; it makes it easy to come back regularly without feeling like an afterthought on the menu. Everything I’ve had has been consistently satisfying.
One small thing: it’d be great if they could fix the vacuum/air-pressure situation, the door can be surprisingly hard to open. Also, I’d love to see more plant-based options included in the Throwback Thursday deals to make those specials a bit more inclusive.
Overall, an extremely welcome and appreciated addition to the neighborhood. Staff is incredible, helpful and on point, always nice and always go above and beyond.
