Wow! Drinks are impressively sized, food arrived quickly, and man did those flavors surpass our expectations! Even the rice was perfect. We split a meal between the two of us and it was more than enough. I NEED to know what sauce was used on the shrimp. Can’t recommend enough.

Mezcalito in Beaufort is in a great spot in such a calm, pretty town. The vibe inside is super lively, though the restaurant itself feels pretty small and tight. The staff was really attentive, which I appreciated. I went with a group of 7 and most of the food was really good. I had the chicken flautas — they tasted good but were a little on the dry side. One thing that surprised me was they serve agua fresca in a jug instead of a cup you can refill — I’ve never seen that at any other Mexican restaurant. Only downside was the music was so loud at times I could barely hear the staff. Overall though, a fun place with good service and a nice atmosphere.

Absolutely my favorite place to dine in, takeout, or enjoy outside. I should have written a review along time back. The atmosphere is so inviting great service with a smile. The food is so amazingly delicious! Everything I have ever ordered was hot and fresh. Even as soon as you sit, to order they are right there with a hot basket of nachos with I only gave a 4 in service because they are popular and get very busy. What can I say Mezcalito Beaufort is the perfect place to have lunch at on the waterfront. It will forever be my favorite location even though I have one near my home now. Everyone is so friendly. We always enjoy seeing Annie. The food and service are top tier. Angel is our favorite Waiter. He greets us with a smile and makes sure that our food is perfect!

Very good food. Food arrived hot and delicious. Service was very friendly and quick. I had a King Burrito, which is very delicious. The wife had the Mescalito bowl. Another wonderful addition to the restaurant scene on the Beaufort waterfront. Watched a beautiful sunset. We came for the wife’s birthday. We will always return here.

Lively Mexican restaurant! We walked right in to get a table, but we did go at a non-peak time. Chips and salsa had a hint of lime, salt, and pepper. Delicious! We all got different plates, but all agreed they tasted great! Staff were nice and attentive. I mentioned to my husband how all they staff were working hard. Clean and right on the main street in Beaufort. Pricing was normal. Music was loud so beware if you are sensitive to loud environments.

Visiting for the weekend & decided to try Mezcalito. The food was amazing. We are vegetarians so we had the fish & vegetarian tacos, along with the fresh guacamole. The waitress came to the table with a smile & was very accommodating. My only thought was the music was way to loud to have an intimate conversation.
