I ordered the Pasta alla Vodka. The dish came with bread and a balsamic/olive oil dip and a side salad. The bread was store bought. The pasta dish was good but came after everyone was done with their Pizzas at our table. The main business is definitely Pizza. Depending on where you sit it’s blowing cold from the AC. Overall an OK experience.

Excellent lunch here. We had the strawberry and pecan salad (nice pieces of pecan, fresh greens), a small Salsiccia e Pepperoni and a small cauliflower crust (gluten free) Salami Piccante pizza. Both pizzas were equally good, with a crisp cornmeal crusted base. Not soggy, so yay. Friendly service and nice casual atmosphere.

This place is just great. I’ve had both the Neapolitan and American style and they’re both delicious. It’s one of the places I always have to hit when I’m in town. This trip I ordered a customized pizza with a Brooklyn pizza base, the ricotta blend, roasted artichokes, and mushrooms. We LOVED it. I hope I make it again before I leave!!

We had super service. Small pizza and Alfredo split between two of us. So excellent and delicious. Recommend highly for family and friends. Not overly expensive. Two adult beverages, pizza and Alfredo $47.00. Very clean. Great place to eat in Hill City! Didn’t have to wait to be seated.

Pizza was high quality and worth the price. Had to try their pasta as well, and I can’t agree that was worth the price. It was a good pasta dish, but the serving size was pretty small for $24. The pasta came with a side salad and bread, but they did forget to give us the bread, so we had to remind the waitress… We got the margarita pizza and penne alla vodka. It was all delicious and we ate all of our food and I would come back but only for the pizza.

Unless you are a teenager, you better have a big appetite! The small pizza was 6 slices and enough for two. I had the fire in the hole with roasted red peppers, Jalapeños, and pepperoncinis. Delicious!!! Another ordered the meatball sub and had 3 giant meatballs on a sub with marinara sauce which was equally good. Reasonable prices and two ate for under $40. Our waiter, Antonio was great. Very polite and friendly but didn’t hover over us. Overall, a real gem for lunch or supper.

The pizza looks like it’s going to be really good here but unfortunately lacks flavor. We asked for extra cheese & extra sauce (we read in another review the pizza always is dry) and our pizza still barely had sauce but it did have extra cheese. Our server was nice but unfortunately I had asked for pizza sauce on the side 2x before finding our server to get some. No drink refills during our meal. The price was good on pizza but very high on anything else.

The one star is mainly for the horrible service and lack of service we received. Also, for getting one tiny piece of pulled pork on the Big Kahuna pizza. After being seated, we were never greeted by our server. About 12 minutes later, after two large parties were seated, gave their drink order, AND received their drinks, the hostess came up to my wife and I letting us know our server was busy and she’d be right with us. We placed our drink and food order with the hostess. Then we waited and watched as three tables that were seated and placed their orders after us all received their pizzas. And we still waited another 10 minutes. As you can see in the photos, the Big Kahuna has one decent piece of pulled pork and then some scraps. I chose not to say anything as I was already hungry and didn’t want to wait another 30-45 minutes for more. The cherry on top of all this dismal service was upon our departure from Mangiamo. The two hostesses and two servers were at the front counter, looking and discussing something. Not one of them looked up and said “thanks” “have a good night.”
The flavor of the food was good. But put some pulled pork on a pizza that mentions pulled pork as the first ingredient!
