Great spot for a game or larger group of people. Food was good smaller portions but tasty. Wider menu liked that in a sports bar. Good waitstaff as well very attentive.

Staff and service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. I’ve been to 2 locations so far and both have been great.
I just found out about their rewards at the braintree location. Download the app and you get coupons. We will be back again!

This was my first time here, and I definitely enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was later on a Sunday evening, so it was a pretty quiet environment, and I was able to enjoy my quesadillas and a drink after work. The team was pleasant and attentive, and I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a new place to try. There are tons of seating indoors and ample outdoor seating. There are plenty of TVs if you’re a sports fan and looking for a chill vibe. Will go back again sometime and try some other foods off the menu.

There was no wait. Loved the open dining area. Even with all of the televisions, the noise level was minimal. We ordered the tower of wings, fries, sweet potato waffle fries, and a side Cesar salad. The boneless honey BBQ wings and both fries were the best. The salad consisted of the bitter ended with some visible browning, which left it pretty much unpalatable. Our server, Stephanie, was great. She was friendly and attentive. I’d go back and try some other options.

I had been going to Jake n Joe’s trivia regularly to support my girlfriend, who hosts it. I love trivia and play several times a week at different locations—my family literally has a group chat called “Trivia Winners.” I also usually end up being one of the only people playing here, which means I often place simply because there aren’t many teams. There have even been a few instances where I was the only person playing in the whole restaurant. I’ve always been upfront about that, and I’ve tried my best to help the restaurant by promoting your trivia on Facebook, bringing friends and family, and encouraging others to participate so the event can grow.
Recently, I was told that although I’m allowed to play, I’m not allowed to win anything because you believe my girlfriend is feeding me answers. I found this incredibly insulting. My girlfriend is an honest, hardworking person, and I would never put her integrity—or her job—at risk. To have her character questioned and my own intelligence dismissed was deeply disappointing. The willingness to jump to such an absurd conclusion says far more about the mindset behind it than anything happening at trivia. It’s unbelievable how full of themselves someone would have to be to think there’s some secret plot to scam the restaurant out of a $10–$30 prize.
I’ve always been respectful to the staff, tipped well, brought in new business, and genuinely tried to help make trivia more successful. I was having harmless fun, playing fairly, and supporting someone I care about. Instead, I was made to feel unwelcome and accused of something that simply isn’t happening. Other trivia venues celebrate regulars who play well. Here, I was punished for it. After this experience, I’ve told my friends and family not to bother coming back. It’s a shame, because the servers are great, but the way this situation was handled severely tainted what used to be an enjoyable weekly outing.
I was hoping to try to work this out, but Jake n Joe’s ended up doing away with trivia entirely. I really enjoyed coming here. I have a lot of friends and family in the Braintree area—this was a great way for me to connect with them and spend time together. I genuinely like the staff and the atmosphere, and I didn’t want it to end on a bad note. I hoped that with a clearer understanding of the situation, you’d be willing to approach this more fairly and with a bit more trust moving forward. Since that can’t happen now, I can only hope that you will learn to be more trusting and compassionate going forward.

Had a very good experience here today. But it would’ve been a great day if the Korean cauliflower was back. Great vegetarian option and honestly an anti depressant. Anytime I needed some comfort and joy the Korean cauliflower did it. They’re so kind here they said they’ll sell me the sauce. But I don’t have the skills like the cooks here. They also made it with so much love and care and they made it perfect each time. I talked to cooperate and couldn’t reach for a comeback of the Korean cauliflower. Hopefully it comes back soon.

I’ve been going to Jake n Joe’s for 10 years. I love it. Been to all except Foxborough. It’s an awesome chain restaurant that doesn’t feel like it. Staff is friendly and personable and always tells you their name. As well as make you feel at home. But NOW I’m very put off by the name tags they are forced to wear. JnJ’s is not Chilis or 99 or friendlys. But it feels like it now. Please get rid of them. Please!

Seems like a good place to visit during Basketball and Football season. The milkshake was rip off for $7.00 highly recommend not to order. Their wings are so so. Nothing special.

We live in Braintree but have never visited this little gem until just recently.
We were pleasantly surprised at how awesome it was! I got the steak tip dinner which was delicious (except for the Broccoli that could have used more time to cook)
Our server (we sat at the bar) Sheena was delightful and didn’t leave us waiting for anything.
She told us about the 1/2 priced apps which we went back the next day to try! Wasn’t disappointed!!
Looks like we found a comfortable place to go eat and enjoy some good comfort food!

We had our holiday party at the Jake n JOES in Braintree, and I can’t say enough about it. Food was great, they put us by the Christmas tree, wait staff was fantastic. Mike helped me plan the whole thing out, and was onsite during the party to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here for any future corporate events. Thank you all that were there durning our event, you were awesome!!!!
