My husband and I decided to do a casual date night on a budget and stumbled upon Fire + Ice for their all-you-can-eat special. At around $26 all day, we were honestly surprised at how affordable it was, especially for a customizable stir-fry concept.
The setup is straightforward: you choose your base, proteins, vegetables, and sauces, then watch as they cook everything on a large circular grill station in front of you. They also offer a small salad bar with options like build-your-own Caesar salad, macaroni salad, and clam chowder.
When we walked in, the restaurant appeared clean and it wasn’t very busy (we went on a Monday). One thing I didn’t realize beforehand is that you’re limited to one bowl at a time for your stir-fry and the bowls are on the smaller side. So you really have to strategize and pack everything in carefully before heading to the grill.
The ingredient station could definitely use better organization. The labeling was confusing, and it wasn’t always clear what was what. I also wish there had been more attention to cross contamination practices. For those who avoid certain meats like pork, it’s worth noting that the same spatulas are used across different dishes on the grill.
Service was another area that could improve. After being seated, it took quite a while for someone to bring menus and drinks. There appeared to be only one server managing all the tables, and I genuinely felt bad for the young gentleman who was running around trying to keep up. Meanwhile, there was someone in a suit walking around who didn’t seem to be assisting the floor staff, which was a bit puzzling.
As for the food itself: the salad bar was decent not amazing, but acceptable. The macaroni salad was fine. The clam chowder, however, was not enjoyable and tasted very canned. The stir-fry was okay overall; I personally wasn’t a fan of the sauce options, but for the price point, expectations should be realistic.
Would I come back? Probably not. However, if you’re looking for an affordable all you can eat option and don’t want to spend too much on a night out, it might be worth trying once. It serves its purpose for a budget-friendly meal but it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit.

This place was great. We went here about an hour before the doors were scheduled to open at the house of blues for BBNO$. We were sat on the balcony and although it was a chilly evening, the heat lamps kept us comfortable. I wasn’t cold at all even in a dress. The food itself is whatever you make it, but they cook it on a huge round grill and they do a great job at cooking it just right. That being said, if you have food allergies I’d probably either avoid this place or pop a benedryl beforehand because sometimes the food touches on the grill and while they clean the stovetop often, I noticed they reuse cooking utensils without cleaning in between. I ended up popping a benedryl when I saw my food was next to some shrimp and was fine but it might be a bigger deal for more serious allergies. I’m not sure if maybe they could accommodate allergies but I feel like the concept of this place would make that request difficult.
The drinks were good and I liked that we had a view of the long house of blues line from our balcony spot. Overall my only regret was I couldn’t eat more than two plates. We’ll probably come back here again for future shows.

Really glad we decided to go to Fire + Ice. Really good selection of pasta,.noodles, rice, meat, veggies, and sauces. Everything was clean and well stocked. Service was good. Could use some direction on where to go when approaching the grill. Nice that besides typical Mongolian they offer hot dogs, burgers, and even cheesestakes. Enjoyed the flavors and will go back next time in Anaheim.

If you’re looking for Mongolian, this place is not it. If you’re craving Mongolian and your family wants alternative options, this place is not it. To me, it taste absolutely nothing like traditional Mongolian places. They won’t cook your food with the oils and sauces. They cook your food and then add your sauces after your food has been on the grill for like 5-6 minutes. HUGE disappointment and the service sucked. Reception people were on it but that’s because no one was in line. Getting food was semi straight forward except for the sauces. Getting food cooked was not. I may have not noticed but I didn’t see a sign that directed me to just pick an empty spot to get my food cooked. My bf grabbed a spot and was told to stand somewhere else by the cook, which then we were standing behind a person waiting for their food to cook. We would have been there forever, luckily the guy we were standing behind heard us complaining about how confusing it was and directed us to go to an open spot. The food was okay. My bf got a cheeseburger and it was ten times better than their “Mongolian” wanna be food. If you’re going here, know how you want to season your sauces. That was super difficult for me and I saw others struggle. There is no sign like traditional Mongolian restaurants where they tell you how many oils + whatever seasoning sauce. I actually took a photo and asked ChatGPT – settled on Asian Sesame and Garlic & Lemon. My ratio must have been off, it was way too sweet. There won’t be a next time for me – this place, for me, was a complete waste of money. I think the manager or owner of this place needs to visit a few actual Mongolian restaurants and get some ideas on how to make this place more enjoyable. Waste.

First timer here! Love this place. They have asian and Italian choices for grilling; meaning in terms of sauce, meat and carbs. Wide varieties of meat with good chicken choices: one unseasoned and two marinated, which is more than enough for me. I only tried the asian side for now . The food was great! Even with only using a single sauce, it was enough to give its own flavor not ending up tasting the same. The chicken and cod I tried had good tenderness and their own flavor. Also, they have a butter compound . Def coming back hurrrrrr!
Oh and the staffs were also attentive and friendly

I was pleasantly surprised at how much we all (a group of 7) enjoyed this place. We were there for the brunch, and everyone in the group had a nice time picking out their food…

Mixed review coming up. The location was incredible. Upper level with lots of patio seating. The cooks worked their butts off! The food offerings were pretty solid. Unique meat selections which made it fun. The bathrooms were a 5-alarm fire. Completely disgusting, no paper towels to dry your hands off, and poop and pee on the floors. Didn’t appreciate this with my two younger daughters needing to use the bathrooms tonight. The DJ they had on the patio was blasting his music. Couldn’t hear anyone at the table talking which made for a not so fun dinner. The last issue was the cost. 5 adults and 2 kids was over $250. Fun place, but dang that was pricey.

There is a variety of foods including a salad bar and a drink bar. It’s kind of like an all you can eat buffet meets a Mongolian style. The food is good. Staff are awesome. It does have a 2 hour limit per stay so more people can come in and enjoy. It’s fun. Has an outdoor patio. They accept reservations and walk ins. The Ice mega bowl is way good. The patio has a fireplace and electric heaters.

I’ve been coming to this location since they opened like 15 years ago. I love the concept that it’s basically a Mongolian grill but with more than just “Asian” options. They’ll do burgers on the grill to order, I do Italian stir fry’s, you can even have them make fajitas for you. Oh and don’t worry, all the Asian options are great too.
Also, as a picky eater I love that I can make my own weird combinations and there’s no judgment.
Today we had our best experience ever. Went right after they opened at 4pm so it was super quiet but all the food was still plentiful and fresh. The woman doing the grilling did such a good job on my food.
