My husband and I used to go here ALL the time. At least once a week to unwind after work. This time though the atmosphere just felt different. There was wait staff sitting in the booths at the door on their phones(I call them the waiting seats where customers would typically wait for a table), granted they weren’t busy at all so I just ignored it. Get to our table and wait quite a bit for the waitress. When she got there we ordered a drink, me a mixed drink and him a beer, well she brought him the same as me, she got it fixed. At this point we had been here about 20 minutes and ordered our food, then waited probably another 20. Food was GREAT, no problems there. Once we asked for a to go box and the check, waited another 20 minutes. Again, they are NOT busy. There was us and maybe 2 other tables in the restraunt. Once we finally got the check and our box we waited ANOTHER 20 minutes. We just walked up to the front to check out and surprise everyone is still sitting on their phones by the door including our waitress. Honestly, we probably could have walked out and no one would have noticed.

When I tell you I love this place, I mean I love it. My favorite restaurant since a long time. This is my go to spot for any Mexican restaurant. Specifically because their menu isn’t like all the other Mexican restaurants. The service here is not always the best, but the food makes up for it. I always get a quesadillas de pollo here. It’s really good. I get ostiones locos because I like them. Their ceviche is really good too. I like their sides of rice and beans. I will always be returning to this restaurant. I’ve tried almost the whole menu and it never disappoints. The prices here are very affordable. Thank you so much Los Cabos!

I had a very poor experience at Los Cabos due to extremely poor service. Our server “Yurete” took the orders without writing anything down. Those that ordered first received their food & were missing multiple items. When reporting this to her she became argumentative telling them their items didn’t come with these things – though the menu verified that they did. My soup–something simple–took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. When it finally came out, it was incorrect. I specifically asked for no cheese, yet it was served with cheese.
When I pointed this out she again became argumentative and insisted that I didn’t order it that way. Multiple people at the table confirmed that I did request no cheese. At that point, since we were ready to leave, I asked for the order to be canceled. She continued to argue, stating that I couldn’t cancel the order, even though nothing had been served correctly. I had no food because it had been taken back due to their mistake. She finally said, “Okay, fine, just leave,” which was extremely unprofessional.
To make matters worse, other members of my party shared that they’ve had similar negative experiences with this same server in the past. They also reported that their food wasn’t impressive. They never received the guac & other sides they ordered. The salsa was basic and their entrees were simply underwhelming.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. Learning that this is a constant at this establishment is disappointing. I will not be returning.

The Mister and I gate a quick date night when I got to town, the food was really good. Blanca was our waitress. My tequila sunriser his apple martini were great. I ordered the fajita nachos with chicken, steak, and shrimp with chips. He ordered the same but over rice. It was very delicious, and the food came out fairly quickly. We will definitely come again.

Los Cabos is a familiar Mexican Restaurant in Bartlett. I like it because the dishes I order are always good, but I’ve noticed that if there is a problem with your meal the staff will gladly fix it. It can be extremely busy at times, so it does make a difference when you visit. If you’re coming for lunch, it’s best to get there when they open. If you’re visiting from out of town, be sure you have enough time to enjoy your meal without rushing. Overall, my experience at Los Cabo’s has been extremely pleasant. The staff is accommodating and friendly.

My first visit, I would have given 5 stars as everything was great! I had Camarones al Coco en Salsa De Tamarindo and it was delicious! The guacomole (if you get the Mexican guacomole for an upcharge over the dip) and queso is really good, too. second visit was not stellar. I made the mistake of ordering Steak Ranchero, a t-bone grilled with onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños. The vegetables were perfect but that was the worst steak ever. It was very thin and looked more like a pork chop. Taste wise, it was awful like leftover meat and very tough. I could not eat it. I saw the disclaimer on the menu about no credit or anything given for food that doesn’t taste good after it is served. I ate the vegetables rice and beans but left the “steak “. The server didn’t say a word when I said it wasn’t good. She just took the plate away. Unfortunately, a disclaimer like that leads me to believe this is a common occurrence. I have no problem paying for the food when I go out but I do expect quality and edible food. For that reason, I do not see another visit in my future.
I have only been around 4 to 5 pm on a Friday both visits which is not a busy time. We sat outside on the patio both times which is our preference when offered at a restaurant. It was not crowded and tables are far enough apart to make access easy.

We ordered the carne asada plate and added shrimp, and hubby ordered the Toro loco . To start the service was top tier Javier was our waiter and he is so attentive we loved him. The wait time on our food was decent, like it came out pretty fast. Now, on the food, I honestly feel like the meat is marinaded. I am not big on it like the flavor isn’t awful, but for us, it wasn’t great. Their beans were dry, not the best we have had. The green salsa was the best.

This place is a relaxed dining experience. Nicely lit and clean. Staff greeted us as soon as we arrived and we were quickly seated. Our server was took our drink/appetizer order shortly after we were seated. Our food was hot and tasty. I would recommend you watch the plates if you bring little ones because they are hot. I love this neighborhood eatery.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I placed an order over the phone. I ordered black beans and when I arrived home, I had brown beans. I called the restaurant and told them I ordered black beans( I don’t like brown beans). Instead of the manager saying sorry we can make you black beans, she stated that’s on you, I took your order and you said beans. I said no I didn’t. I don’t eat brown beans, I ordered black beans. She insisted that’s what you ordered, that’s on you. I said maybe you heard it wrong. I would never order brown beans. She repeated you ordered them and that’s your fault. I said okay, I will bring all of the order back and get a refund and my tip. She then said I could get black beans, I am the manager and I will not give you a refund because you got what you ordered.
I went back to the restaurant and she refused to come from the kitchen to speak with me. She told the clerk that I could get black beans. At this point I want nothing from this restaurant because if the manager is that rude, who knows what they would have put in my black beans. I left the food there.
Needless to say Los Cabos-Bartlett just lost a customer.
