Nice environment with friendly staff. Tried various dishes. Food wise good but not good enough. Overly cooked beef when we asked for medium rare. Squid was tough too. Could have been better if they control the heat (maybe overwhelm with orders). Tomyum soup barely passable and lacked the punch. I would give a 4 out of 10. Garlic chicken, fried egg and scallops are equally good. The durian dessert caught our attention. Mao Shan Wang sticky rice infused with gula melaka and black sesame seeds. Red rubies with thin strips of jackfruit and coconut flesh. Good combos.

Came back to Sawadee after 3 years, love the new look but a bit too sterile. Service is still great!

We ordered a number of dishes, all vegan.
Red Curry 4/5
Fried Spring Rolls 4/5
Tom Yum clear soup 5/5
Red Curry 4/5
Ordered a noodle cant remember the name, see the pics 5/5
Thai Fried Rice 4/5

All the food was great, service good, wait time was minimal.

Will definitely visit again, whenever I can!

Booked the private area for a girls dinner and it was an awesome experience! Service was attentive. Food was delicious. The salads were tangy and flavorful. Steak is a must order. The accompanying sauces and fragrant fried garlic makes it uniquely Thai. Lastly don’t forget to try the red ruby – it is jasmine infused and with smoked coconut milk. The best!

We had a lovely family dinner with warm, attentive service and authentic Thai food. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented.

Loved the off-menu Fried Egg Salad and Crying Tiger Fried Garlic (beef ribeye with fried garlic). The star for me was the Thai Herb Roasted Whole Chicken — it was super tender (and sadly the only dish I forgot to photograph!. Even my fussy kid enjoyed it!

Red Ruby dessert was a hit too. There was a subtle jasmine note. Fun fact: I was told the coconut milk used was smoked the traditional Thai way (who knew coconut milk could be smoked?).

Bonus points for being kid-friendly—colouring kits kept the little ones happy. Will definitely be back!

I have been eating this yusheng for many years. This is the best yusheng, must eat yearly.
Sawadee Yu Sheng never disappoints! Fresh, crisp ingredients, a perfectly balanced sauce, and generous portions make every toss a delightful experience. It’s the perfect way to usher in prosperity and good fortune. Highly recommended for a festive and flavorful celebration!

Upscale Thai restaurant, with dishes influenced by chef’s hometown. Generally the menu here reflects its fine dining and high quality food, so Restaurant Week is a good opportunity to sample the food at a fraction of usual prices.

Here’s what we had for $38++/ pax:

STARTER
MACKEREL FISH CAKE
Springy and bouncy fishcake, served with homemade chilli sauce.
THAI RICE CRACKERS DIP
The coconut pork dipping sauce reminded us of satay sauce!

SALAD
GREEN MANGO SALAD WITH PEANUT BRITTLE S
Unlike other mango salads, this was served with pork, shrimp, fried shallots and onions.

MAIN COURSE
PORK CURRY WITH CHA MUANG LEAVES
Unique dish, have never tasted anything like that before. Sauce went well with rice.
STIR-FRIED TIGER PRAWNS WITH BASIL
THREE FLAVOURED SEABASS
The fish was very fresh, served with a sweet and sour sauce.

DESSERT
RED RUBY
Mixed with jackfruit, coconut flesh and creamy coconut milk. Remember to stir before eating because the sugar syrup is at the bottom.

Food was top notch! The Tomahawk steak came with 3 different types of sauces and crispy garlic- a must try! The red ruby dessert was also a standout and a must order! Will definitely be back again to dine.

Great customer service! Highly reccomend the pork collar. We celebrated our birthday here and they gave us complementary coconut ice cream, took a Polaroid for us and even gifted us a 1 for 1 voucher for next visit. Thank you!
