We ordered a number of dishes, all vegan.
Red Curry 4/5
Fried Spring Rolls 4/5
Tom Yum clear soup 5/5
Red Curry 4/5
Ordered a noodle cant remember the name, see the pics 5/5
Thai Fried Rice 4/5
All the food was great, service good, wait time was minimal.
Will definitely visit again, whenever I can!
Loved the off-menu Fried Egg Salad and Crying Tiger Fried Garlic (beef ribeye with fried garlic). The star for me was the Thai Herb Roasted Whole Chicken — it was super tender (and sadly the only dish I forgot to photograph!. Even my fussy kid enjoyed it!
Red Ruby dessert was a hit too. There was a subtle jasmine note. Fun fact: I was told the coconut milk used was smoked the traditional Thai way (who knew coconut milk could be smoked?).
Bonus points for being kid-friendly—colouring kits kept the little ones happy. Will definitely be back!
Sawadee Yu Sheng never disappoints! Fresh, crisp ingredients, a perfectly balanced sauce, and generous portions make every toss a delightful experience. It’s the perfect way to usher in prosperity and good fortune. Highly recommended for a festive and flavorful celebration!
Here’s what we had for $38++/ pax:
STARTER
MACKEREL FISH CAKE
Springy and bouncy fishcake, served with homemade chilli sauce.
THAI RICE CRACKERS DIP
The coconut pork dipping sauce reminded us of satay sauce!
SALAD
GREEN MANGO SALAD WITH PEANUT BRITTLE S
Unlike other mango salads, this was served with pork, shrimp, fried shallots and onions.
MAIN COURSE
PORK CURRY WITH CHA MUANG LEAVES
Unique dish, have never tasted anything like that before. Sauce went well with rice.
STIR-FRIED TIGER PRAWNS WITH BASIL
THREE FLAVOURED SEABASS
The fish was very fresh, served with a sweet and sour sauce.
DESSERT
RED RUBY
Mixed with jackfruit, coconut flesh and creamy coconut milk. Remember to stir before eating because the sugar syrup is at the bottom.
