The place was nice and the staff were friendly. The only issue was that the appetizer and main dish arrived at the same time, so by the time we got to the food, it had cooled down a bit. I didn’t enjoy the lemongrass soup since the tomato flavor was too overpowering for my taste. However, I really liked the green curry with beef. The portion sizes were fair for the price.

Awesome establishment at hwy 7/Leslie for some Thai food out! Can get busy during dinner, found it’s much more quiet during lunch hours. 4.5/5

Food is fairly tasty with medium sized portions. Plating has a nice touch! Interior décor is a modern-club style accented by a colourful jungle theme. Service was attentive. Would recommend for the area.

Everything that we ordered was amazingly good! Our server Mindy is fantastic. She made sure we enjoyed our meal and offered us free dessert. So sweet! Will definitely be back soon.

The food is amazing, especially the curry soft shell crab and pineapple fried rice. Service is excellent, Miney and other servers always come and check, also refilling our water. Though it is a bit busy and the music is a bit loud, it is a really pleasant dinner.

Had a late lunch with my family here on a Sunday. We ordered the shrimp cakes and Thong Pong Grob. Both were very tasty.

For our mains we had a shrimp fried rice, pineapple fried rice, beef satay, and a seafood rice plate. All the dishes were full of flavour and tasty. The pineapple fried rice was made with curry, which my son didn’t like. Typically pineapple fried rice is not made with curry powder.

We did their mango sticky rice for their desert. It was yummy and not overly sweet. Plated a bit differently from the picture.

The service however was very lacking. We didn’t get water refill and had to flag down our waiter. All the waiting staff seemed to be huddled in one corner rather than actually serving their tables. When it came time to pay, I was asked how many was in my party, when you can only see 5 people sat at the table. I am assuming because they were after the mandatory certain percentage tip. During paying the server hovered over my shoulders as I was processing the payment. I found that quite discomforting and frankly rude.

Though their food was tasty, and quite tastier than other Thai big restaurants downtown, I wouldn’t revisit this location due to their service.

Really impressed with this store. Everything was good. Authentic, thoughtful, and not boring at all. The drinks menu was really interesting as well. Loved the service and the vibe.

If you’re only getting one dish, I recommend the soft shell crab with curry. It’s very skillfully done and pretty easy to eat.

Walked in on a Friday night for dinner. We ordered the shrimp cakes, which were tasty. I tried the new sizzling seafood plate — it was just okay ; flavour fell flat. It first arrived in a pot, and then the server poured it onto a separate sizzling plate. As you can tell from the photo, it was extremely messy. The broth boiled instantly and splattered everywhere. Everyone at the table was worried about getting oil on their clothes, and the table was left filthy. Some of the squid overcooked because it continued cooking on the hot plate. The rice came separately, which felt like a missed opportunity — the sizzling setup could’ve created that brothy, crispy rice moment.

My friend had the Koi Soi and said it was good. I ordered a Pad See Ew with chicken to go, which unfortunately was not good. We split the mango sticky rice. The blue rice was not fresh but the white rice was. When the waitress asked how it was, I mentioned that half the mango was very sour. To my surprise, she got defensive and said, “The mango comes in the box.” Yes, I’m aware — I was only answering because she asked. At more established Thai restaurants, they’ll actually tell you upfront if the mangoes are sour today. She followed up by saying with an attitude that she’s worked at many successful high end restaurants. Which was interesting, and irrelevant.

After waiting about 20 minutes for our appetizer and mains, the waitress came running back to ask what we ordered again? Turns out the order was never entered, so we’d been waiting for nothing. That delayed the meal and our evening. What struck me most was that no one made any effort to fix the situation. For a place with multiple opportunities for constructive feedback — including completely missed orders — there was zero attempt at accountability. Even their replies to other Google reviews tend to brush off criticism as “subjective,” which is disappointing.

It took forever to flag down our waitress because she and the others were busy chatting in a corner. It genuinely felt like they were doing us a favour by serving our table, rather than simply doing their job.

It also took three attempts to get the bill sorted. The machine didn’t work the first time, and when we finally managed to pay, she hovered awkwardly over us during the transaction.

Overall, the ambience is great, but the service is not, and the food is mid. Won’t be returning.

Third time coming here so you’ll know it’s one of our favourite spots to eat. Food always tastes great! Had calamari and crab rangoon for appetizers, bbq pork jowl and crab fried rice which was more than enough for 2 persons. Also had a drink with the meal and a complimentary birthday ice cream of thai milk tea. Different but surprisingly good!

Since Isaan Der opened up in this location, we have seldom been to other Thai food restaurant. Isaan Der has been our go to place when we crave for Thai food. All the dishes that we tried were full of unforgettable flavor. We loved their appetizers, all are unique and tasty. We tried all kinds of Curry, never was disappointed. The pad thai is not as good as Pad Kee Mao which is made of special thick type, very chewy. All the waiters are super nice, smiling and beautiful. The interior gives a feel of bar, modern and colorful. As it is a popular store, it is better to reserve a table in advance.

Love this place! Food is delicious. Portion are a good size. I’ve been to a couple of Thai places, this is still the best in the GTA. Love the wide range of selections and they offer a lot of seafood choices. Most places I’ve gone to, has just shrimp. Love that they have so much to choose from.
