I have been to MOD pizza in Seattle but I was happy to hear that we were getting one in Federal Way. I haven’t had a chance to stop by until today as I joined their rewards program and you get a free No Name Cake so I figured this would be a good time as any to try them out. There is plenty of parking and they have seating both inside and outside. The interior here is lovely and perfect for all occasions! The staff here were very friendly and ensured that my experience was positive. They had my order ready and the No Name Cake was delicious! I look forward to coming back when I am craving some good pizza.

Mod is dependable. It’s clean, quick, and satisfies your pizza craving. This is why we love Mod. I never felt the need to write about how good and reliable Mod is… until tonight.
Our pizza artist, Willow, gave us hope that the art of high standard customer service is not lost. Willow not only made our pizzas, but answered our questions about ingredients we’ve never had with joy, and their recommendations were STELLAR (I love the ricotta dollops – thanks again!).
High quality didn’t stop there, while we were in there team members were cleaning, calling out pizzas with joy (this skill is really a lost art) and when our pizzas were ready Ky was sure to verify we had all our sauces before he closed our pizza boxes.
Best mod team ever (special shout out to Willow) : Willow, Ky, Max, and Xavier.

Edit : stopped by this morning again and service was just as amazing. My pizza was made by the same girl and it was just as delicious
Stopped by for dinner tonight and the staff was just excellent, it’s as if their energy transferred onto the pizza.
The pizza was just straight delicious, it’s my second time coming here and one things for certain, the young girl with glasses will get your pizza right and never lacks a smile on her face, the other two young men that helped out once my pizza was done were amazing as well, it was cooked perfectly and they recommend great sauce options for my pizza that I will have to try my next time back in the area.
The customer service here seems to be excellent! All 3 would greet anyone who walked in, whether it was a delivery or a dine in.

In the time I’ve been visiting this particular MOD pizza only once have they over cooked the pizza and that was a rather busy day for them so took it for what it was.
I continue to dine at this location in order out mainly as it’s on my way home from work so if pizza is calling then this is my go to place.
Always seems to be attentive to surroundings and almost always get a welcome in when entering the door.

There service was sorta slow as they were pretty busy. And it does take some time to cook the pizzas. Pizza was great. I dont understand why only half the employees were wearing hair nets and the employees with longer hair were not. And the only reason I say this is because we had ordered a salad and in our salad we found a long blond hair, i didnt see any employees there with blondish hair. I knew it wasnt mine cause my hair is red . Needless to say we quit eatting the salad but before we left I was looking at the salad cause I was going to go say something about it to someone and I found yet a 2nd long blond hair in the salad. And not a few seconds later some kid from the back came out with something for the employees in the front and he had blondish hair long no hair net and looked like he could of been working the back making the salads.

The dining area is a minimalist dream, wood benches, simple tables and the service counter provides the basics of napkins, plasticware, and soda fountain. The food is very good. They prepare the pizza at the order counter, and you can see the toppings and add what you like. It’s a thin crust, so it is cooked fairly fast in the brick oven. You pick it up at the counter when its ready. Most traffic seems to be carryout, so the seating area was less than half full. We were there for a fund-raising event by the Federal Way High School (Tennis team?). Will do it again, with or without there being a fundraiser involved.

The staff were pretty friendly but they skimped on the ingredients. The ingredients they did put on the pizzas were just thrown onto a single spot without being spread out. The store was out of straws, which was pretty unfortunate for the kids. Asked for the pizzas to be well done, but they were still soggy.
The tables were all very sticky and the cup lid dispenser was coated in grime. There were also no napkins available.
The atmosphere was pretty nice, but people who dislike music playing at higher volumes would likely be quite annoyed.
Wasn’t a terrible experience, but could have been better. Overall, disappointing compared to pre-COVID visits.

Very satisfied with the pizza, I was able to choose the toppings on my pizza. All the toppings I wanted! Very good choice. I will be back.
