At our W Monroe, LA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This West Monroe location is one of the best fast food restaurants in the area, believe it or not. I base this on speed of service, freshness of food, correctness of orders, cleanliness of the restaurant. AND every worker here is super polite, friendly and efficient.

Just had a meal as we do have alot of them in Texas. The workers were very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. The food did not take long at al and was hot and fresh. The inside was also clean. Ms. Deanna was so sweet and hospitable. I’ve never had any one check on us during a visit at a captain Ds but she made sure that we had all we needed. The Oreo cheese cake isn’t good but everything else was tasty.

This location deserves a shout out. Awesome employees and as a result I’m assuming awesome management. We get tired of the monotony of eating off Thomas road it’s all chicken and burgers; so we eat here for lunch quite often. The staff is super friendly and the food is always fresh and quick. One employee even helped me bring the orders to the car. You won’t get that service from any other fast food restaurant aside from maybe chick fil a! Came an hour before closing one night and the person who took our order was a delight great customer service! They were out of tea and made a fresh batch and boy was it good and sweet. I don’t know how many times I’ve went through Popeyes and told to pick a different drink because they were out of tea. Overall this location has never disappointed, highly recommend!

We usually eat here when we are in the mood for fast fish. We got some catfish recently that had a not too pleasant fatty taste. I commented on the website and about a week later received a letter and free dinner card from Mike Grigsby, Area Director. Thanks Mike.

It’s been a while since I visited this location but, I am very glad I decided to stop!! The food was hot and fresh!!! The fish was crispy and flavorful!! The coleslaw was just right!! Everything tasted great!! Especially the sweet tea!! Will be back soon!!

It’s been a while, but they didn’t disappoint… I got the Spicy Cat fish with a side of shrimp, Green beans, fries and instead of hush puppies I got a roll with a large sweet tea light ice AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS GOOD GOOD. . shout to Captain D’s in West Monroe, They did they Big One…..I will be back This weekend… INDEED

I’ve loved captain D’s since I’ve been out here the food is always cooked fresh and hot the restaurants have always been clean the service has always been good it not a long wait time to get your food and it’s delicious and they give you the obtion to have you food grilled or fried and it reasonable price.. the service is still good delicious food timely order delivery I liked that the had an older crowd working in there equal opportunity employers same great taste good service fresh and pretty fast service even though they be Crowded
