Nice little spot. I really enjoyed their Carolina Gold with Blue cheese wings and the smoked Mac and Cheese. I had visited the week prior with my oldest brother and decided to head back with the wife.

We stopped in on a whim today and loved it! My husband and I had the Signature Blue and Gold Wings which are dry rub & smoked finished in blue & gold sauce topped with crumbled blue cheese, Comes with celery & blue cheese. These wings were different but amazing. I don’t like super spicy wings, which these weren’t but were amazingly delicious! My son had the mac and cheese bowl and loved it too. Will definitely be back for some more of those wings!

The bartender/waitress Jess was super nice and accommodating, the drinks were made really well and the food was AMAZING!
I got the whiskey BBQ chicken sandwich, my in laws got chicken wings and my partner got the mac n cheese bowl with chicken. Their BBQ and blue and gold sauces were absolutely delicious, we were all blown away by how good the dishes were. My father in law said the wings were the best he’s ever had in his life, and we’re from Buffalo!
I’m so glad we stopped in for lunch, we’ll definitely be back.

Last night my friend and I went to Whiskey River. The band bonfire was amazing. Great job, guys. It was my first time there. It was fantastic, even the service. The waitress’s name, I believe, was Teresa or Tesa or Nesa i can’t remember. Her first name she did a great job and was so nice to us, and respectfully to her she’s beautiful ❤️.

Set outside with friends and family for an outdoor concert and dinner. Very busy! Staff was good but a bit overworked, which seems very common these days. I had their smoked chicken wings with the black and blue treatment, which were very tasty but a bit pricey.
My girlfriend had a special order hamburger without a bun (no gluten-free option visible) and french fries. The french fries side was disappointing due to the very small portion provided. No complaints from the other diners.
Drinks were not on the cheap side but reasonably priced considering the music was free. Inside the bar was quite busy, although this was a beautiful Friday night.

The atmosphere and the area was very nice and relaxing. There was a live kiss band and they had the place live and rockin. Our server was amazing and made sure our drinks and food order was placed. The food just wasn’t what I expected. I ordered the smoked Blue and gold chicken wings. They were cold and not fully cooked thru didn’t taste smoked at all. I also ordered the Mac-n-cheese bowel with chicken. Bland and too much cheese. The only thing I liked was the bbq drizzle. I would only return for drinks.

Was busy when we came in but it was 6 on a Saturday night. The wait was less than 10 minutes and we had a seat at the bar. The food was absolutely excellent! We got the blue and gold smoked wings which were unbelievably juicy and tasted awesome! The whiskey selection was vast and the cost was low. I ordered a relatively top end bourbon neat and it was 6.50! That is unheard of and definitely I’ll be back just for that.
The crowd was upbeat the music was appropriately volume, and the TVs were jamming sports.
They offer plenty of healthy and gluten-free items in the menu and the costs are average for the Rochester area. Lower in some cases.
The downside to the restaurant is the area has minimal parking. However 5 minute walk from there has more than ample parking spaces and lots.
You will not be disappointed with whiskey river! Give them a chance. Enjoy the food and flair, and bring buisness back to this area of the city!

We always have great food here, other reviewers have noted that service can be slow but in today’s day and age, nobody can get help so I can hardly blame them. This is still a solid restaurant with very consistent food. We always love coming here, especially with the kids.
